We’re still easing Hawkeye back into hiking so we only walked 11.7 miles today to the Wildcat Shelter. He is almost back to 100%, so we hope to continue increasing our mileage tomorrow.

Congrats on clicking off another state! We've seen packs of turkeys like that all over western North Carolina around Asheville. They are making huge comebacks there. Stay Safe.

As I recall our section hike in New York was so interesting. NY doesn't believe in switchbacks, they take one straight up to get to elevation.

We’re trying to get some miles “in the bank” for the slowdown in NH and ME, but hot weather and annoying injures keep popping up. Hoping for a big week this week.
