This music video was shot at an abandoned mall in Thailand, the first rappers name is Hongjoong, he is the Captain of the group, the orange haired rapper is Mingi. Ateez have a deep storyline that is told through diary entries like comics in the physical copies of their albums that they then depict through their music videos. So it is like a movie because they are literally telling a story. This m/v and song are very story driven.
There are 8 members. The others are their backup dancers. The dude in the jeans is San, and yes he is a badass dancer. Watch some of his fancams. His facial features when he performs is so fun! He gets into his performances so much. They are all amazing dancers. You must watch a live performance. They are monsters! I love this song, but you won't love every song, and that's ok. I hope you continue to watch more Ateez. They are awesome!!!
ATEEZ are awesome. They actually started out as a dance troupe called KQ FELLAS, so that's why you're picking up on their astonishing dance skills. Fun Fact: STRAY KIDS and ATEEZ are friends and frequently shout out each other in their off stage vlogs etc.
Ateez are BEASTS at performance- it shows in their music videos, in their dance practices, and especially in their live performances. Personally this is one of my favorite songs of theirs (especially Yeosang [guy with the really deep voice who isn’t Mingi, the orange-haired rapper]’s pre-chorus and its accompanying choreo) but something great about Ateez is that they’re not afraid to branch out musically- personally, just for title tracks, I’d say Wonderland (original and the Kingdom versions), Thanxx, Deja Vu, Eternal Sunshine, and The Real are all more up-tempo musts, with a bonus mention for Turbulence, if you want a really well-done, beautiful song that speaks to the struggles that so many of us go through.
Imagine for this song, this is the story being told from the perspective of the desperate people who followed the rebellion and had all their emotions sucked out of them by the government. The people view Ateez as the leaders of their rebellion, the people named Ateez, Halazia, which means "Hearts awakened, Live alive in the light" and the people are begging Ateez to come back and save them. That's why it almost sounds like a cult like dystopia song. The big balls floating in the sky are the combined energy of peoples emotions gathered up by the government. In the process of stealing all the emotions, the government also made gravity stop fully working. So when Ateez and their followers pulled that one ball back down, it restored gravity and returned emotions to the people. There's some lyrics from this song I love to explain. Yeosang, the pretty boy with the really deep voice in chains. He sings about a little blue bird that has lost its voice. In Korean lore, a little blue bird is a representation of a high-ranking military officers soul that was lost in battle. So this lyric references a lost hero whose voice was silenced. But the whispers are still there. The whispers of the people that hero left behind start to deeply echo. Making the stolen voice of that lost hero, the voice that can still save the world and overturn the oppression through the voice of the followers they left behind.
If you want a MV with their choreography featured HALA HALA is a must! San has broken so many mic dancing the choreo! Its one of their best songs and must listen to song! Thank you for your reactions
As someone that grew up on rap and RnB, I Iike all Ateez songs because they know how to use metaphors in raps yet have the vocals to kill RnB. The rappers also have distinct tones which is a must for me. ATEEZ songs are lore heavy which is different than regular song composing. My fave raps/club bangers are Hala Hala, Dune, Django, To The Beat, The Leaders, The Ring, Thanxx and Win. I see people keep mentioning ATEEZ with Stray Kids. They're nothing alike so I hope it's not what you're expecting with Ateez.
The Halazia mv definitely sacrificed choreo for the sake of lore. They have a massive storyline, and Halazia's mini-plot was a huge step forward in the storyline. For more choreo-heavy MVs, I recommend Hala Hala, Aurora, Promise or Treasure. Otherwise, their live performances are pretty damn good.
Just so you know, ATEEZ are all monsters of dancing and performing. Their main dancers are the traffic light fellas in red, green and orange-yellow. :)
You NEED to watch their KINGDOM performances! Their Wonderland stage is listed as the #1 Stage in tge entirety of KPop fir 2021- your mind will be blown!
if you dont like the music youve listened to so far, they have many different genres of songs. If youre into *Rap* songs, _'Good Lil Boy' 'To The Beat' 'The Leaders' 'Fireworks' 'Thanxx'_ (this has quite a bit of rap in it but also melody). If youre into more *Rock / Intense* type songs, _'Geurrilla (-Flag ver. is same song with more rock instrumental in it) 'The Black Cat Nero' 'Win'_ If you want *Exciting* songs , _'The Real' 'Wonderland' 'Rocky'_ If you want *Refreshing Soft* songs, _*All About You' 'Turbulence' 'Mist'_ If you want *Refrehsing & Exciting* songs, _'Eternal Sunshine' 'Celebrate' 'Feeling Like I Do'_
ATEEZ members are all professional dancers unlike other kpop groups, and they were a dance crew called kq fellaz before they debuted, so yeah they are top kpop dancers and the best kpop performers🔥
KQ Fellaz was just what KQ chose to call them before debut for showcase purposes because they did a ton of promoting before they even debuted to get their faces and abilities out there. That included those dance videos. They did the same thing for Xikers before they debuted, calling them KQ Fellaz 2.
Their music videos never do their choreographies justice. I always suggest to everyone who reacts to ATEEZ to watch either the dance practices or the performance videos so they can see the full choreo. ATEEZ is an 8 member group (like Stray Kids). The others you see in the dance practice are a dance crew called BB.Trippin. They choreograph most of ATEEZ’s music and are their backup dancers. The rapper with the orange hair is Mingi (with a hard G, or as we like to call him, Minki). He’s an absolute menace on stage. The one in the jeans in the dance practice is San. He didn’t even know how to dance when he joined KQ. Yunho and Mingi helped him a ton while they were in LA for a month training.
Okay. Also if you wan to see where they came from. They have a dance video called “KQ Fellaz Performance Video 1” It’s a cover of Pick it up by Famous Dex.
So enjoy U🫰 ➕️ LoVe 🤍 ALL 8 🤍 of these guys ➕️ 🎵🎶 dance kings 💯🔥 🔥SAN " in the jeans" ...PART OF THEIR 🌟DEMON LINE🌟 (dance line)‼️ 🔸️FIREWORKS 🔸️Deja vu
I love this song. This is my second favorite from them. It just hits different. My first favorite from them is answer. Since you like bts stray kids and now ateez. You should definitely give a group called monsta x a tray. And yes they are exactly how there name is lol. Jongo the youngest of ateez he’s the booming voice you hear he’s a huge monsta x fan. They are probably his favorite band aside from his own ofcourse lol. And in stray kids the leader bangchan is really good friends with the leader of monsta x and he promotes there songs with every chance he gets to. And in bts the rapper suga is really good friends with monsta x main vocalist. Your first monsta x song should definitely be a song called gambler. Monsta x is called the bad boys of kpop and also the men of kpop lol watch gambler and you will see why they are called that. They do have a dance practice for it also :) I really hope you give them a listen :) great reaction as always. You are a very genuine dude. And I really like you :) keep up the good work my dude. :)
ATEEZ are definitely one of the most amazing performers out there. You should also check out the group Seventeen and their song “SUPER” or the group TXT and their song “Sugar Rush Ride”.
10:55 There is only 8 members of ATEEZ, the rest are Kpop trainees and/or dancers from other kpop groups and some can even be other kpop artists that would come dance with them as well.
The others are a dance group called BB.Trippin. They are ATEEZ’s choreographers and backup dancers. They also choreograph for Jessi, Dawn, Hyuna, PSY, Crush, and Xikers
There are 8 members. The other guys were back up dancers. You should get to know the groups a little bit before you react to them. And a lot of music videos in kpop do not show the full choreo.
