Mu is the complete package! Talent, poised, great interviews,...she is wonderful. Her 800M at the games was amazing. She doubles in the next games - gets the 400M/800M gold - well that is much more rare than a WR or single medal. Think the cuban in the 1976 games was the only one to do that (the rare 400/800 double gold). That is more impressive than a WR. What I don't get is....where does that poise come from at 18-19. It is insane at her tender age to be so poised and polished during interviews. Mu, Syd, Gabby...US women's track has some nice polished runners loaded with talent, graceful, great stories... love them all.

She's going to piss off a lot of mid distance runners in this Olympic trials. Shoot she might be getting an offer to run cross country as well if she keeps this up. Might as well try the 1500, 3k, or maybe even the 5k. May hurt her legacy that she isn't a sprinter but if she's this fast she might as well try it.

If she has the raw foot speed, she will hit 47 in the 400. She could legitimately break Koch's world record.

It'll be a disaster or underutilization if this young woman is not allowed to run 400m or participate in the 4by400m relays in the Olympics. I don’t know what kind of games some people are playing with the pictures of this young lady. It’s happens all the time with young African-American female athletes. On the picture where she’s got the score of 49.84 someone has Photoshop a mustache on the picture.It’s remind me of the way the Williams have been treated in their own country by some of their own countrymen in this country. American of African dissent help lead the struggle for equal rights for people of color before and after 1865. It is just beginning for people for color in the United States. We could be so much further along as a country in any field that you can name had we allow and encourage full participation by everyone in this country regardless of color. This is the only country on the planet well you can probably find someone from every corner of the earth and we are still trying to keep slavery going in some parts of our country.
