Absolutely would love to see more product reviews...especially health / fitness supplement and nutrition. Huge price gap in a lot of these products, so it's nice to hear where you can save a few dollars. Especially coming from someone who is an athlete and can really provide good insights into product performance! Thanks for the review!
I love the bpn greens and reds too. I’m also a massive fan of their intra-flight for endurance and mix it with Humann super beets for maximum blood circulation and blood oxygen. It could be in my head but love it as an ultra endurance mix. Would LOVE your feed back on intra workouts
Happy New Year EO;) Keep going. Before I became a lawyer I waited tables for many many moons. I STILL USE THOSE SKILLS to this day. I treated my station even if they were all 2 tops as my own business.
I can vouch for BPN's Strong Greens supplement, I definitely agree with what you said about feeling more optimized and energized throughout the day. I recommend it as well.
BPN is my favorite. I am trying body tech brand joint formula before getting the BPN strong joints but using electrolytes with greens every morning post run is always something I look forward to. Plus them having protein, pre workout, and a pump formula… it really is a one stop shop.
Nick Bare is making the best stuff on earth. I use the Strong Stack, Whey, and G1M. Rare a company has health, endurance, and muscle building supplements all dialed in at once.
BPN hands down! I use their strong reds, greens, vitamins and joint supplement- all for 125$/mo. Knee swelling down, never sick in two years, focused energy, optimal performance....Spoke too soon, lol got Omi just after this, but wow, mostly recovered in three days. Helped for sure by this regimen.
$125 a month and that doesn’t even have whey protein, pre workout, and creatine?! You do know there are companies with better products at better prices right?
@@actualwafflesenjoyer what’s weird about it? Supps are expensive, and a lot of the time don’t actually provide any benefit. $125 a month for reds and greens and vitamins when you can eat healthy clean food is insanity to me
BPN Strong greens are the best! Love their strong joints as well, I had been struggling with knee pain after my walks after a week of taking them it was gone
Just subbed. Like your content and found you looking for a review on electrolytes. Looking to get back into running again after mountain biking for the last two years. Your vids will help
BPN greens are good along with all of their products! I think some of the best tasting greens are by Edge Fitness Performance. Their pineapple punch and natural berry both taste amazing!!!
definitely excited to try BPN's product. So far have had bad experiences with greens supplements. either having them taste like grass or taste like pure artificial sweetener.
BPN strong greens is awesome! I"ve been taking it since July (pina colada flavor is fire), and my digestion has improved immensely. I don't even need caffeine in the AM now, I don't bloat as much, and I'm extremely regular in the bathroom - something I wasn't before. I definitely feel greens are beneficial, especially if you've dealt with digestive issues before. I tried Strong Reds as well - delicious, but the greens are my fave.
Just curious , I have the lemon flavor and didn’t like it, tasted to much like lemon and grass to me. I saw the pina colada and love pina colada. Is it actually good tasting ?
@@matthewmegliorino3961 It's the only greens I've really liked. It has a slight earthy taste, but you will get that will all greens. The pineapple really shines through, though, and it's got a sweet flavor.
I just bought AG1. If you tell me Bare nutrition is as good/better and half the price I’m going to scream! Update: You didn’t really recommend either one. Therefore I did not scream.
I see this is 7 months ago but I still wanted to reply - as others have noted AG1 has way more nutritional supplements than the BPN. Also AG1 lists all of their ingredients whereas BPN is not as transparent.
I can’t wait until I finish breastfeeding so I can start taking AG1 again. It’s worth every penny. I felt so good when I took them. I didn’t have my usual sugar cravings either. Great review, thanks!
AG1 hurts my stomach, Caused alot of major GI problems during my workouts, it's just not for me, with how it affected me i must be allergic to some of its ingredients, but AG1 has ALOT of ingredients so there is no telling what happened and the price is expensive, I also couldnt stand the taste, and i didnt see a noticeable difference in my recovery. After recovery from AG1, i ventured out to Strong greens and strong red about a month ago and I haven't had any issues with my GI. Also, its majorly improved my recovery based on my whoop data! I feel great when I drink it, and I'm able to mix them together and they still have a manageable almost tasty taste 😄
Great review. Thank you so much! I'm on day 1 of Athletic Greens. I liked the taste. I put it in about a liter of water which maybe too much water. Do you think I should just drink it with their cup and recommended amount of water? I thought you can't go wrong with more water.
I've been using the Athletic Greens product daily for a little over a year now and I absolutely love them. The price is a little steep, however they are definitely worth it.
So this video is a little misleading. With AG1 you get the bottle, 5 travel packs, 30 servings of AG1 and a YEAR supply of vitamin D3 for $79 (which is the subscription price and you can do 1 month and cancel...also this price is obtained through a sponsor code, many creators around RU-vid offer this if you look hard enough) The price of $99 mentioned here is the ONE TIME purchase price and ONLY includes the powder. Same with BPN. $40 is the ONE TIME purchase price, you get 10% off with the subscription. AG1 offers way more nutritional value with probiotics and a more full profile of vitamins and greens. Also, BPN doesn't reveal all ingredients in their powder so you could be dealing with some filler and other shit you may not want. AG1 is all there on the label. While BPN could have some quality ingredients, the price difference between AG1 and BPN is clearly because AG1 offers way more. Compare the ingredients for yourself. (lastly, AG1's ingredients are ALL verified by the National Science Foundation, which is essentially government oversight)
exactly, everyone over looks this part and mainly concerned about the price but ur paying for the quality and like he mentioned in the vid if u do the BPN reds as well its almost the same price as AG1
Thank you for clarifying the info on this video. I personally prefer AG after trying other green products. Here’s to good supplementation and gut health.👊🏽
I just ordered up some AG1 on the 30-day sub plan and I'm looking forward to trying it out. Of course, it's case-by-case for everybody since we all have different chemistry. But, I will say that looking at the ingredients comapred to the handful, an actual hand full, of pills I take every morning, AG1 looks like a one stop shop. I only wish they included a joint support compound but I also understand that you can only mix so many things together and AG1 already has about 50+ ingredients. If it were the same content as the basic greens powders off the shelf, then I would balk at the price. But the infedients list and the 60 day trial give me enough reason to try it out. Hell, I already spend about $80/mo on all the pills and capsules so why not?
As always a great video Elijah! Thanks for the comparison. Both products I have went back and forth on getting. I do have a question for you off topic from this video but one related to running! Have you ever had IT Band Syndrome? It has plagued me for a month or so and has kept me from running and leg exercise as a whole! What would be your recommendations on alleviating this pain and tightness and getting back out there? Thanks for any feedback and recommendations in advance!
Another benefit of BPN is they are banned substance free. Also if you want to get single servings for travel, the have samples of almost all there products for $3 each
Is that assuming the AG1 has banned substances? And what substances would those be? And if you're not in a sport that tests for it, why would you not want to take it?
So comparing the price of AG1 to BPN: Theoretically, you are paying $40 for each mix so with AG1 you are also paying for a $20 bottle, $20 container, and $20 vitamin drip. AND that is each month? After the first month, technically, the mix goes up to the full $90 plus tax/shipping. Why would anyone consider that?
@@tlanthony82 all the ingredients are TOP quality and are also expensive for the company. That's why they sell it for a high price. Also, the vitamin D is a free 1 YEAR supply.
I dont' know if it's more recent than this vid, but AG1 has a subscription for 39 a month that the first box comes with all you get in the single 99/month money. AG1 also has a 2 month sub for 60. First box has the jar, vit d and the bottle. So it's comparable to bpn, if not cheaper.
@@felrau1 on their website they have an offer for the starter pack which includes a year supply of vitamin d3+k2 and a recurring monthly subscription of 60 servings all for 149.00, If I am interpreting it right that means it will cost 75.00 per pouch instead of their usual 99.00.
I think it says a lot that all of these brands are trying to compare to Athletic Greens. How many videos are out there like this? I am okay with spending more for AG1 as you are getting so much more than a greens mix. I have really not found an apples to apples comparison with AG1.
My whole thing is the energy aspect. I seem to be one of the only people out here NOT looking for energy or alertness. I have high blood pressure, ADHD, and pretty severe anxiety. I am always looking for ways to get nutrition WITHOUT the highly advertised and sought after "buzz" of alertness and "optimized energy". I literally just want to be healthy, but not be trembling with unnecessary level of energy or awareness. Trust me, I'm already aware and alert enough, I wince at the sound of a pin drop in a crowded party. I want something that will provide me with healthy body without altering my mind whatsoever. That doesn't seem to exist.
cold water to diminish the taste... of course. This thing taste like a "tropical" liquid Tumbs. So no doctor involve before and after a test period to see and qualify any impact.... when I see 500%+ or 997%+ of something, I'm a bit sceptic on the long run benefit, you have no questions on this formula?
Exactly. And they include all this free stuff like a years worth of vitamin d but when you go to renew the product itself and buy more the price is the same
Yea I have tried both and think Athletic greens was better overall. Also if you go cost per gram they are about the same, the scoop is about half the size in BPN (7grams versus 12 grams), so you are getting more in athletic greens. I was able to get rid of more vitamins and supplements going that route. Overall both are good, you get more with athletic greens, but if cost is an issue BPN is good.
They just don't justify the cost. Many other ways to get your vitamins and minerals at a much lower out of pocket expense. No way to really know the benefits without pre and post blood tests.
No supplement is worth $99. Especially when you can pay less than half for an equal supplement and still buy a month worth of fruits and vegetables on top of that.
I always felt cautious of these type of fitness & health products. after all, they're a business. I rather just do my research & find the product that best works for me. thanks for the review though!
Gotta be honest. I've followed Nick for years. And I've bought and continue to buy many of their products. But I tried their reds and green and I could not stand the taste. It almost instantly made me sick and I had to spit it out
Supergreen Tonik is actually the best on the market. Big BPN fan though, see the pic. I’ve tried 8-10 green supplements, but if you are actually looking for the undebatable best greens it is supergreen tonik, full transparency and they are incredibly strategic with the exact amount of each ingredient so they work cohesively.
I would just add that caution should be taken with eating fruit, as it is extremely high in sugar, as in fructose. Berries are the healthiest of the fruit group, with way less carbs.
