How to fix and repair any ATI AMD graphics issue. Catalyst Control Center and Switchable Graphic fix for windows 7 8, windows 8.1, windows 10 step by step
If you are Lenovo, HP or Toshiba user, you may need to install AMD drivers from laptop manufacturer site. Drivers from AMD site may not work for you.

---- Reinstallation Steps ----
-----------------------------------------
1. Before anything else, lets make system restore point. Because if anything goes wrong you are able to restore your system to previous state.
2. Now lets download AMD Catalyst driver. Be sure, that your package includes Display driver and Catalyst Control Center.
3. It's time to uninstall your AMD graphics. Just go to control panel. Now open up your device manager and uninstall AMD adapter. If there is option "Delete the driver software for this device" then check it.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Run Ccleaner and fix registry errors. Ccleaner download link also in description.
6. It's time to install your AMD graphics driver.
Choose custom install and be sure, that Display drivers and Catalyst center are checked, also any other option.
7. Restart your PC.
8. Now we have fully working Catalyst center with Switchable graphics option.
9. With AMD Gaming Evolved you can optimize your games, check for updates, earn points, connect with steam and much more.
10. Also AMD uninstalled Intel media components. So open up your device manager and reinstall them.
11. If your screen goes black, do not turn off your computer!!! Just wait a little bit.
12. Restart your PC.

Missing Switchable Graphics option? Check out these steps:
1. CCC does not installed correctly?
Go to C - Program Files - AMD - CCC2 - Install - and run setup. The solution may install missed components properly. Restart your PC
2. Roll back to the latest drivers when you had the switchable graphics option. Repeat all steps as shown in the video.
3. Go to BIOS Setup Utility and check, whether you have switchable graphics option or not.
Dynamic mode allows you to manually choose your graphics settings for applications. Fixed mode allow switching between the power-saving GPU and the high-performance GPU based on power source.
So change it to fixed and if your laptop is plugged in, it should use AMD graphics.
4. You can also install your drivers with UnifL leshcatlabs.net - take a look at "Fix Your Issues - Install Package Failure or Code 43 etc..." in description below.

UnifL is ONLY FOR 64BIT SYSTEMS.
If you have 32BIT system, you can still use "Display driver uninstaller" to get rid of bad drivers. Just download new drivers from intel and amd site. Links are in the beginning of description.
Do you have Microsoft .NET4 Framework installed? Newest AMD drivers ask for it.
Find it out at msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libra...
1. You can uninstall your AMD and Intel drivers with "Display driver uninstaller" www.wagnardmobile.com/
2. Extract "Display driver uninstaller" somewhere into desktop, e.g. desktop/amdcleaner - run extracted program in WINDOWS SAFE MODE.
IMPORTANT: Following order is important:
3. Uninstall AMD. Restart your PC.
4. Uninstall Intel. Restart your PC.
5. Now go to leshcatlabs.net/unifl-unified-... and download your driver.
I recommend to download stable version
I'm currently using Crimson 15.12 ATI AMD official driver and works great. (win 10 - amd 7700M)
Before i used 14.9.2 from leshcatlabs and everything worked almost fine, but 14.4 was more stable. (win 8.1 - amd 7700M).
And if you have google chrome, then go to chrome://settings/ and uncheck "enable phishing and malware protection", under Advanced - Pricacy section, UnifL is not malware. After download enable "phishing and malware protection" again !

IMPORTANT: Following order is important:
6. Install Intel. Reboot your PC.
7. Install AMD. Reboot your PC.

I don't often comment here but this fixed the problem with a friends laptop beautifully. HD7570M with Intel HD4000 on an HP dm4-3112tx. I couldn't update the drivers at all causing corruption in the CCC but following this process and uninstalling everything then re-installing them worked a treat. Thanks so much.

i've successfully installed my updated driver. but when i open CCC , on power setting and performance settings are there, no gaming settings, etc. most of the majority settings are not there. can u help me?

Thanks for this video it helped me more than you think,I was trying to update my note book to play a pc game called home world remastered,it took me to the ati catalyst page and it was a nightmare hours spent their,frustrating hours,I tried your step by step guide(very good though)but because I have a note book it wouldn't work the finally I seen the amd info for note books and went there and went to the manufactures site then found everything,that one little thing helped thank you for your vid,very pro one at that.

Thank you so much, seriously! I've installed the amd catalyst driver so many times but the display driver won't show up. Turn out it was because I choose "express" instead of custom installation, so that's why only catalyst control centet would be installed.

Also it's not only about reinstalling. If you have any other issues then the first move is to uninstall AMD correctly, like i shown in the video :) But i'm glad, that reinstalling worked for you.

Hey man, I don't think so, that you need to buy new pc :D But let me know, which graphic card you use and drivers you tried to install? There is alwasy some problem with ATI drivers and windows 10 seems to install some random drivers afterwards.

Right click on your display device and choose Properties > Driver tab. Select Roll Back Driver,and its all ok again

I come to back to this video hoping i can get some answers a while i got all the things in the video and it all worked but after a couple of time i can't change my settings back to select the graphics processor based on application needs. now it just stuck on manually or based on power source it's not a big problem but it is a problem that i can't change the settings back to the default because i use both of them time to time any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

for every one who has switchable graphics i had done these methods 1. you must update the intel driver from display adapters in device manager if you had one 2. (then you will see by clicking on right click on desktop (graphic options and graphic prop this is the most important thing you must see that you have graphic options ang prop to be able to update the amd driver and get switchable graphics choice 3. then you can update your amd driver and it will work it had worked for me

Hi, I have the Dell Inspiron 15 3521 with AMD 8730m and Intel HD 4000 integrated in the processor and with Windows 8 SL 64bit. I've been wanting to update to Windows 8.1 for a while but I don't want to risk it and downgrade back to W8. Will this "fix" take care of the "Catalyst Control Center host application:stopped working" on Windows 8.1 ? And will the new AMD Driver work? (AMD Omega 14.12)

It's not showing as in the video in my windows 10 computer. After installing the AMD catalyst it does not look like yours in mine. When I click on graphic properties it still opens up intel HD graphic settings.

Can you help me? I have asus k45d with graphic card Amd radeon dual graphic hd 7640g+7470m. After updating to win 8.1 and rebooting my laptop, my screen flickering and the display look like a mess. Also catalyst center not working at all. I try to follow your steps exactly but my screen keep flickering. So, i try to uninstall the new display driver and install the old one. It fixed the flickering but menu in catalyst not complete. And i can't find swichable graphic. Any suggestion?

I have a problem.My laptop's graphic card is Radeon HD 8800M...and when i installed the Catalyst Control Center, the screen went black and nothing happened. The screen remained black even after a day! So i rebooted my PC and it said that there's a problem with my pc. So i reset(format) the PC. And everything worked perfectly except the graphic driver. When i try to installCCC again, same problem. This is not the first time. I've done this for a week! What should i do? My OS is windows 8.1. Please help me! :(

hey!! this version of amd graphics driver worked so well in my notebook..i use amd hd 7500M/7600M series in my laptop..but the problem is somehow this driver got uninstalled..and i cant find this driver...all the drivers in amd website are the latest ones which one doesnt have switchable graphics option?where and how i can i find this old version of driver? plz help!! ill be gratefull! :(

I am having issues over here.... I have AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 4GB DDR3 RAM Radeon HD 8550M graphics with 2GB Video RAM but when i install the CCC, and the performance is set to high, i cant get proper graphics!! Video playback is terrible!! any suggestions???

i uninstalled the amd components as you have mentioned and then i restared the system.but after restarting it automatically installs the amd radeon again. i am using dell inspiron 15r with amd radeon hd 7730

Hi, i see that you have Dell laptop. I too have a Dell, now what i want to ask is that is it fine to download AMD graphic card stuff directly from AMD? I was told that if ever i have to upgrade any of my drivers I should do so directly from the dell site and nowhere else. Pls respond.

Dude plz help me i right click on my desktop and it shows me the and catalyst control centre but when i click it nothing happens and i dont have the switchable graphics settings option i open amd web page i found my graphics card (AMD Radeon R5 M300) and when i look at what it contains it dosnt show me that it has the control centre and i need to download it and beside my laptop dosnt show me that i have an AMD adapter it only Shows me The INtel one plz help me dude :/
