@chunkymonkey428 yes and no. My thought process only really included the NL since MH3 will get an MVP without competing with an AL CF. And yes, sadly it has been easy to forget about Trout since he has missed so many games. I hope he is healthy and gets traded to contender in the Angles remain bad.

Braves are the ultimate example of how hard it is to win the World Series. They seem to have no faults and no cracks and complete depth, but talk to Braves fans and all they see is flaws.

It’s makes sense in a way. Braves fan have experienced this before, great regular season teams & division winners just to falter in the playoffs. The 2022 & 2023 team were better than the 2021 team but the 2021 team won the World Series.

I'm with Trev on that last thought. The modern game does not benefit from the Leagues/Divisions set-up at all. Balance the schedule as best as possible and then play it out. Top however many make the playoffs. This would also allow for World Series matchups that are currently impossible. Like ATL vs. LA.

I’m a fan. It would decrease the likelihood of undeserving teams making the playoffs. The Mariners were better than the Marlins and Diamondbacks last year, but just played in the wrong league.

@@gentlemanjake8005I like the idea, although I don’t agree with the idea that this format allows “undeserving teams” to make the playoffs, if you can get into the playoffs after playing 162 games (and now you actually play all 30 teams) I don’t think it’s a fair statement, plus the Dbacks proved they were a legitimate playoff team last year

@@Kthesaint18 I think the threshold is now too low to get into the playoffs. Before, you basically had no chance if you didn’t win at least 88 games. The new format rewards mediocrity. That’s my gripe, but I understand not everyone agrees.

imo, the lineup, while slightly improved, may not meet last seasons special levels, but our pitching will more than cover any drop in hitting and we win 104/5 games. (love the Sale-outta-the-bullpen idea, btw) Braves take the over 104/5

Reasonable to expect a little regression from Ozuna and Olson probably won’t hit 50 again. But Acuña could actually be even better, and so could Riley.

If it makes you feel better, I’m very much not looking forward to normal Bryce Harper for a full season. He could sleepwalk his way to a .950 OPS.

I’m a Braves guy but I have a feeling that the Mets of all teams will trip Philly up and keep them out of the playoffs. The way we own the Mess is the way that they own Philly. My Predictions....another 100+ season for the Braves....Kelenic will fizzel out (he has all his seasons before) ....Wall and Duvall will platoon if they still platoon Duvall......I think Austin Riely could very well grab the MVP this year.....dominant where he is at one of the best 3rd basemen in baseball now.....Arcia will be great at his position and probably another All star ....Albies will be amazing.....hitting hommers more now....Matt Olson another candidate for MVP with his bat and glove....Spring Trianing was a bust for him ...maybe not pushing it to let it go on Thrusday .......Both catchers positions is GREAT ...both are great hitters....Michael Harris 2 .....wow ..!! What a GREAT season ..first pitch of the Spring training is a HOMERUN.....this team is dominant all the way around ...oh and DH....Ozuna....powerhouse.......only weak area is LF.....we will see how that goes......Braves say only WORLD SERIES will satisfy...not just the Playoffs..!

Also the Braves struggle with getting bench players and good pinch hit opportunities because those players will probably get 1 at bat every 2-3 games. Most bench players want more playing time than that
