Dude you crack me up “the rest of the day I can be a jackass” 😂😂 You made a great point, I admit that I love my Garmin but it’s important to read your paper maps and adjust your electronic path accordingly, nothing is as important as paying attention to your signage along the route. When I go to a new place I like to use Google street view, I can zoom in on any signage but I primarily use it to find the shipping and receiving entrance, maybe that helps, maybe it doesn’t but I thought I’d throw that out there anyway. Stay safe out there buddy and thanks for all your efforts !!
I appreciate that my friend 🙏🏼 I love google maps for that reason exactly. I can see where the entrance is and what the parking will look like. Pretty much anything. But you can’t just follow it blindly, you gotta use your head like you said. With google maps, we can see low bridge signs, no through truck signs and pretty much everything else we would need to know before we get of the interstate. Stay safe out there buddy 🙏🏼👍🏻
@@OTRBandit You might want to buy yourself a Rand McNally Motor Carrier's Road Atlas. All of the major chain truck stops should have them. I always bought one every year that I was driving. Best $30 I ever spent. They show you the restricted routes and bridge clearances.
You have a good friend. Just like we used to have to defrost the freezers when they iced up, your reefer does the same. It goes into heat mode, closes a door to keep the heat out of the van and melts the ice off the unit. That’s where the water comes from.
Fine looking large car second time viewing . Stay safe out there in America, driver . I drove 90 to 94 wife said her or the truck so that ended my driving the open road. I'm 65 now so I kinda remember the open road through videos like yours and I thank u much keep up the good work. Peace ✌️ out
Hi Bandit, Another great video, love the scenery. Watching makes me wanna travel the countryside lol. Love listening to you, have a great trip, be safe my friend. Stay safe. Chat soon. Linda 😊 Can't wait till next one.
Good day Bandit. I just simply wanted to say I hope you have a Safe trip and keep it between the lines. Enjoy the ride along and seeing the Beautiful USA. Thanx…………..👍🏻
That was a heavy traffic run, thanks for taking us along. Think the landing gear will be ok with a cleanup, some rewelding and some paint. Enjoy your weekend. 🇦🇺
I got the landing gear welded up and it seems pretty good now. I’m trying to find someone who can sand blast it for me so I can throw some fresh paint on it.
Hi Buddy, another awesome video, we just love your new camera location over your left shoulder showing more of your cab interior👍😉keep safe and thanks again.
Good morning bandit. Maybe somebody told you already, when the refer goes into defrost mode some times the dam thing can get stuck in defrost mode and keep heating up, when it goes into defrost mode make sure it goes back to cooling cycle. Ok buddy. YES SIR!!!!!. Keeper safe, be careful.
Ha OTRBandit I loaded Spuds they were pulling them right out of the ground & loading them into my Refer didn't let them cool down like they were supposed to & my unit kept turning off it thought it was running out of coolant the Tech from Thermo King told me those IDIOTS didn't know what they were doing it was a big pain to get them cooled done so the unit would work 40 degrees where it needed to be
Good morning Chef, I will have to put that mature audience warning like they have in the movies. To warn man babies that there will be some harsh language in these videos 😂😂 don’t want to hurt their sensitive little ears.
Lol thanks for the laughs again. Love the new camera angles. I was just on those roads through those mountains the other day. Very scenic. Stay safe out there
What can I say Brother! Excellent video, rookies, experienced, locals, OTR all can watch this channel and get educated, entertained and just flat out have a good time following along. Really enjoyed this video. Sometimes I find myself checking my turn signal thinking it’s on only to realize it’s yours in the video 😂 gonna have to run past a chicken house someday to feel that 8 hour adrenaline rush you speak of! 😂 I’ll say it again this video was super cool! I think you even said something in your first language? Thanks again Bro! You’re definitely keeping it 💯 any real truck driver knows this channel is where it’s at. #HustleHard 😎😎😎
I appreciate that buddy 🙏🏼 whenever I’m really mad I start cussing in Bosnian. I was really mad that guy got in front of and slowed down. It wasn’t even uphill or anything.
Mass respect Mr Jackson for not waking the driver at the first pick up an honking like a donkey … p.s that fuel filter is nasty diesel is yellow like piss not brown like a turd … Stay safe brother 🤟🇨🇦🤟
Bro u are the man loving the videos keep it up from one large care brother to another keep on trucking Buddy love the content and what you stand for #reffergang#Hooddreamers
@@OTRBandit I run council bluffs Iowa hope to run into one day if you get loads comming into or out of swift foods there will see ya out there be safe brother
I know there are alot of guys on your channel but I watch you everyday and when I get home at night I turn your channel on after a hard day at work and watching you you make me laugh with all the cussing and things you say no matter what anyone else say. My X was a truck driver and had his own for 20 soon years he hauled steel and alot of the city's you go to he has been in Missouri. So I hope you don't mind that I subscribed your channel! Keep them coming and have a safe trip. Your are one of the good drivers out there alot of idiots out there that cannot driver. Take care.
Hey Bandit, if you’re staying on I-24 West take BRILEY Pkwy #155 towards OPRY LAND; that’s keeps you out of the traffic backups going through Nashville, you can also hook up with I-65, I-40 East, I-24 West and I-40 West off BRILEY PARKWAY.
I was going to do that but everywhere I looked was bad. So I just decided to stay on 24. I have avoided that traffic couple times by going around but I couldn’t do it this day unfortunately.
Hope your day is going great, when loading produce sometimes its common to go into the cooler and watch them load might be a good idea to pulp or laser every 4th or 5th pallet especially if you are delevering to a grocery chain they may check the temp, just a tip, also carry a good jacket and gloves, cooler are set at 34 degrees. God bless stay safe.
My day is pretty good so far. Thank you very much 🙏🏼 hopefully you are having a great day as well. I will definitely have to start doing that. I appreciate the tips buddy.
There is a US Foods in the Pittsburg, PA area that has a confusing driveway, as you enter at the end of a street, but before you reach US Foods, there is a facility that takes flatbeds and to enter that facility you have to stop on the street to check in. Which can confuse you since it's on the street and doesn't state it was the for that facility only. My third time there I was coming out and noticed a reefer truck sitting at the stop sign, rolled up and asked if they were trying to get to the US Foods which they said yes. Told them that the guard shack was up just a little bit further and to not worry about that stop sign in particular as it was related to flatbed place. Side note, I don't miss reefer that much.
Watching this Video and seen the "Oh Shit"...F'N Hell, Guess less yappin and pay attention Buddy! I was rolling. Gonna need a New Aligment! Funny stuff Bro
Like your attitude enjoy watching your videos learning how to travel back where I have seen you travel best wishes buddy my Friend sounds like my youngest brother who drove trucks everyone was his "buddy " unbelievable
Hey Bandit I would change all the spring on the trailer. By the way you said Buddy 48 times in this video, lol Back in the day I've worked in a warehouse, and I had to count all the boxes on a pallet and if they had crushed boxes. Thanks for the ride enjoy your videos Buddy!
My first time driving into Florida on 95 the scale house looked closed nobody around no lights I went by they came after me I pulled over they made me go back around and go over the scale I only had bulk mail but no fine lol 😂
They will definitely do that sometimes. They only caught me running a scale 2 times. 1 time just gave me a warning and second time he gave me a few tickets.
Yeah buddy! Prrrr! Love it. I always find your videos entertaining and informative and I always look forward to your new posts. Have a coffee on me. Be safe !!!
I enjoy riding with 369 BANDIT!!! Next time in ATLANTA, Damn the coffee, You getting a rotisserie chicken, salad, and choose drink.. given hell buddy! BRRT!!LOL
Well Good Morning OTR BANDIT, it's Friday thanks for the video I'm doing my best to get you to 100k Subscribers bye my bday 🎂 next month on May 16th.If that happens I am going to get my CDL and hit the road with you if you will let me.well we need more drivers like you in the industry.hope your merch comes out soon because I really enjoy your channel and enjoy your content and also enjoy the ride along scenery you show.Well until the next one be careful and stay safe and no more lost sneakers.
I'd love to drive a truck like this, but I also don't want to be or can't afford to be an O/O lol. But I can't find any companies near me with these nice trucks for hire, and most of them don't advertise. I also always say if you're gonna sit in the middle lane, your truck better be able to at least do the speed limit or 75 lol.
There are some companies out there with trucks like this that have company drivers. But I haven’t seen too many of them. Everyone is using plastic trucks because of fuel economy.
Fuckin GREAT video, enjoy your videos, Great Peterbilt JakeBraking Action, that is a great sound. So if you did not have a resonator it would be louder and richer sound? Can you do that , remove resonator?
Thank you very much. It would be really loud if I was to remove that resonator. I have a Coronado that was straight pipe and it was super loud. Maybe some day I will remove the resonator but I’m not sure yet.
Hey Bandit good video, had to laugh when you hit speed bump and Oh sh1t. I done that so many times and say Oh sh1t with few other words included, pulling the seat cushion out of my ass. Hey Bandit, you might want to make sure you got oil hubs? As you said they were bone dry they might be old style packed wheel and hub bearings. May need to pull one hub apart to find out for sure. If you see like packing grease in the mix of your oil then you had packed hub bearings. Take care and keep the rubber on the road.
I just wasn’t paying enough attention to that speed bump. It’s usually painted in yellow and easy to see. But not this one. I think it’s oil because one of them has oil that you can see through the glass. But I will take them off this weekend to clean the glass so I can see what’s going on inside.
I new we passed you the other day on HWY 278 in between Dallas and Rockmart which would have been in Yorkville Georgia, everyone in my work truck said I was crazy, I new I should have bet $100 bill but I didn’t know if you were filming, I was waving like hell.
G'day, Bandit. Waiting for the next episode (much like I'm waiting for new the new Star Trek series episode), except, I can most days wake up to you posting a new episode. Those poor bastards are still in detention from the writer's strike! You are most definitely a WORKING MAN! I sure wish you were available for 'private' mentoring. I used to drive, 30 years ago (flatbed for McCalister ) until the wife got pregnant and wanted me to stay home to help raise the daughter. Spent thirty years owning my own local business. But, its something ill NEVER regret listening to the wife over! Now, I have permission from the wife (I actually think she'd happy to be rid of me now...jk) to take another stab at chasing taillights. Daddy was driver/trainer, (till a trainee killed him in 71' next to Texarkana). You could say trucking has always been in my blood. All my family are drivers or mechanics in the industry, and live and drive around the area you seem to be from. Im just concerned I've gone too long and am too old (61) to try again. However you've definitely relit the white line fevor in me. Stay safe my brother, and keep posting these vids!
Good day buddy, I think the best decision you made was to go home and raise your kids. Wish I did the same but it’s too late for me to stop driving now. Driving now days is not like it was when you were driving. You can try it again but I’m not sure you gonna like these drivers we have on the road now days.
@@OTRBandit your so very welcome yeah I guess we had another tornado warning every earlier this morning which I didn't c or hear anything the national weather service in Medford Oregon issued the warning as a precaution mearesure but we're safe I hope u have a good night buddy stay safe yeah the national weather service in Medford Oregon issued the warning 4 my county is which is Josephine county and severely other countries as well I guess it briefly touched down but we're safe and in Oregon we don't have tornado sirens have a good drive my friend
Hey Bandido, playing catch up on your videos. You seem to spend a lot of time in Missouri. Is that you're home base? I grew up in Kansas City and still live close by. I enjoyed your video in th caves off of 210 between 435 and 291. Use to deliver oxygen cylinders out of there to area hospitals on a 26 foot flat bed. Can't imagine driving a tracker trailer around in there. You got some balls...yea buddy!
Hello Michael, Yes sir I live in Columbia. I will definitely not be going back to this cave anymore. I’ve been to all of these caves in KC area and I’ve never had any problems anywhere until this one.
Appreciate it buddy. I started driving for some smaller companies in the beginning. But it was very hard for me to get a job because my drivers record was terrible. But I did manage to find some small companies to run for and about a year later I bought my own truck. And after that I started my own company and I started running for myself.
Bandit, Linda again lol I haven't been watching long, love your videos, love your truck and love trucking. Have you ever revealed your name? Take care..., later
BANDIT that company should have put something on the side of the pallet to keep it from tipping over and damaging the load and or your trailer they do that hopeing that it gets destroyed so that they can get out of paying you next time tell them you want them to put something on the side of the loose pallet
I didn’t like the way they loaded that last pallet at all. I was taking it pretty easy on my way to O’Fallon. Didn’t want that to tip over or anything.
😂 Super EGO was doing some serious trailer trucking down Mount Eagle. Like I use to say before I retired, Sometimes you feel like a Nut and Sometimes you don’t. 😂
I’ve had way too many tickets in my younger days. Can’t afford to have anymore. Maybe if I knew that nobody was waiting for me with the radar at the bottom of the hill.
So Bandit are you still loving the refer side of trucking? There are some crazy loading and unloading times but that's trucking. I retired 3 years ago and I miss the road. Be safe and God bless. How old are you Bandit?
So far I’ve had good luck and I’m liking it. But I guess we will see how it goes from here on out. Honestly I can’t wait to retire and stop driving. I know I will miss it but it’ll have to be done. I’m 39
Chattanooga Tennessee for live in Michigan now but just came back up there yesterday and then I know what you mean it's only in the truck so just camp out in the left lane in the Middle Lane and they didn't care about nobody
Yeah people just need to stop being so sensitive. You're not hurting anyone. Freedom of speech! Guess people have virgin anal ears. Yessir... "burp"... over out!
Unfortunately, I do not. Last time I was up there was back in 2007. But maybe I’ll start coming with the reefer because they have a lot of reefer loads from there.
@@OTRBandit nothing runs like a deer John Deere engineers work with Detroit engineers came out with engine's the one you have I think is one of them there very good engine's it go for 1,5 million miles
@@user-oj1ri5ld3xI never knew that. And yes, these engines are very good engines. They can last a long time as long as you take care of them and do proper maintenance.
