I'm so impressed with Guma. I think he's finally understood that flashy plays are temporary; his real job is to be that final boss when his team isn't doing well, to serve as the last line of defense-and he did just that. He almost never died throughout the tournament.
An ADC being the rock of the team is not something I would have expected but Guma is that guy. Even with low resources, he is so impactful. Whenever Faker decides that he is done with League, I hope Guma is there to be the face of the team. If he is able to keep Keria by his side, the sky is the limit for the future of T1.
I agree with Atlus. Faker deserved MVP by stepping up so much. also won against GEN with Yone - he was trash with yone during summer and GEN thought they could open it against T1 and Faker said "surprise mf this is worlds"
Exactly imo i think T1 is just holding back kinda you know like theyre conserving their skills so they can all out on worlds 100 percent. i mean just look at HLE they totally brought out their best on lck and got worn out on worlds and lost to BLG
T1 has that side to them where they limit themselves and experiment during Sping and Summer and then just unleash Hellfire on Worlds with Two Unkillable Demons on Mid and Bottom Lane, a Juking Masterclass on Top Lane, a Deadly Jungler, and one of if not the Greatest Support in LCK.
Im glad most of us consider JDG vs T1 th actual final, that series was legendary , like its kinda sad it ws NOT the actual final , i ll just convince myslf that weibo was the semifinal and JDG was the final
@@JanDarkyy That series only came to 4 games because of the Azir Shuffle. It would've been a 5 game series if Faker wasn't Faker. That series had a lot of insane "LPL style" executions by both teams especially T1. One thing is for sure, in that series Guma played better than Ruler and everyone was playing with their hands instead of brains. T1 is the best LPL like LCK team which is very ironic.
T1 left ksante open in the past few years letting geng stall their game and win late game fights all i can say is T1 finally learnt their lesson and the B/P this series for T1 is very clean
I feel like the next superstar is going to be Guma for me.. He's been so consistent.. Even when they at their worst.. And he plays the games so well.. No deaths.. Perfect cs.. Incredible positioning.. He's a goat 🙏
He is already for me..has 3 back to back worlds finals... He is always consistent and probably the only adc in the world that requires no spoon feeding in terms of resources... Keria goes in to make plays most of the time instead of peeling him... He is the most unique and reliable adc I've seen all time...If he wins this he will. Be the goat of adc
wish we could get a ruddy and Ashley interview xD I gotta say she is by far the most talented interviewer in league E-sports and shes been around forever aswell. She deserves her place in the scene so much.
I swear, aside from being an amazing caster Atlus is such a sweet guy, his streams are 10/10 chill content and he enjoys tabletop games a lot (And genshin)
This feels less like an interview and more like we’re being let in backstage to watch them gossip about the match they just watched. Very fun! And I also agree, very surreal 😮
Both of them haven’t heard that Faker said in a recent video that he had to change his mouse and actively adjust his posture during the summer split? It was the T1 vid about them qualifying iirc, the one where Zeus mentions seeing from beside Faker how hard it was this year. I don’t think it was him taking it easy, more so he was getting used to the changes. To me it’s admirable that he’s making such an effort still, all the examples of pros becoming obsessive about keeping their setup exactly the same (bringing in rulers, etc.) makes me think it’s not an easy thing to do.
When you get used to certain things as routine, it's extremely hard to break it and invent new ones. Faker does it and of course it must come a period when it negatively affect the results before the positivity comes. Faker is the goat, in aspects.
That's true, it feel so uncomfortable when you change the mouse or the posture you are so used to. I had the same mouse for 8 years, when it was time to change it, it felt so so wrong. I can imagen people who actually spend hours and hours training with the same tools and then changing them... it would have been beyond unconformable.
Saw this video recently, this guy is inhuman I’ve always rooted for the team he has beaten at worlds since Rox tigers but EVERY time he comes back as the fcking final boss. But I just can’t help to have just admiration for this player. Not only for his gameplay but mentality
I’ve been wondering the same thing! No one on talks about this as a factor to his performance in summer; even though they all say he was best performing mid in spring.
Yo guma deserves a S/O bro Not dying twice for 10 games straight in BO5s taking AD bans yet still carried with ashe xayah lately Ppl criticised him in summer for being one of the lowest DPM ADC in the LCK yet he came back being a gigachad with great performance
Honestly that was more of a gen.g missplay, the game 2 dive 1v4 was way mroe impressive by Zeus IMO the way he played that one was pixel perfect. Almost outplaying a 1v4 dive despite GEN.G playing it very well.
Fer real the whole losing and looking like they don't belong against Gen G narrative was getting pretty stale. What a great time to finally end that streak.
@@AliHassan-on3prit's cringe to assume that a woman is always interested in a man she's talking to? atlus has been part of the lck for a very long time and ashley is an esports journalist, ofc they know each other and will interact on a more personal level. stop being misogynistic and enjoy the interview
@@etherealanga it doesn't justify upper comments she is literally thirsty over him. if you can't see it you are problem. Thanks for calling me misogynistic. If i see a woman doing what she is doing with him and she knows he is married man she is big problem and you are too go meet some doctors you need eye specialist
Is this the GIGACHAD guy who lose his hair in Spring 2022 ?? XP man i love Atlus his humour are out of this world he always makes me smile every time he casts.
I think the fact that they can practice properly and without any side jobs made them perform better in Worlds. That is the reason they seemed so much better in Worlds
My theory is that a lot of orgs build super teams in order to win it all but fail because of 2 main reasons 1. since they tryhard throughout all the year, there is a lot of information that other teams could pick from them in order to learn how to counter their playstyle 2. while the pace of the meta is slow from january to august, right after worlds, the "worlds patch" changes the meta abruptly from one month to another, giving just 1 month to all the teams to adapt and the one who adapts faster, has the most chances to win worlds. In addition, world's format is different because there is a swiss format and there is no lower bracket. I think T1 realised this during their 2022 journey when they aimed to win the grand slam but lost almost every grand final. They understood that they could use LCK and MSI as high level practice environments to keep their level and they just had to be one step ahead during the world's patch. They gave little information to their rivals and they went under the radar because most teams thought that they were in bad form and they studied JDG and GenG instead. Because of this, they could adapt to both World's metas and get the advantage they wanted. They are really the best league of legends roster of all time.
Chovy didnt choke here tho, he played completely fine. Sure he wasnt excellent but he played well enough to win the series, all of the losing moments came from decisions or mistakes made by his teammates.
@@sashin2661Your right Chovey didn't chocked today he didn't show up. He was invisible 3 of the 4 games. Kin played like how Chovey should of played. Kin gave everything but it wasn't enough.
@@sashin2661at this top level, you don't have the luxury to play completely fine. Playing fine is choking. If Keria, Guma, Oner, or Zeus didn't excel in this series, they probably would've lost.
@@sashin2661 Rewatch again how Chovy starts farming mid teamfight while ashe and mao dies. If you're not sure enough about that, watch 5 seconds later how he turns back to hit Zeus only to die instead of recalling and defending. With all the rights, he did choke. Besides that, I never seen cut the grasp on Ahri for hard farming. That amaze me.
The issue is that the online harshness and cruelty has been the case for 10 months in the case of T1, so it is not entirely surprising that the same treatment given to T1 and especially Faker is now being re-released toward Chovy, who was often used by T1 haters as clear evidence and reasoning for their insults and name-calling toward T1. It is not Chovy's fault by any means, and it is clear that most T1 haters just merely bandwagoned to Chovy just to spite T1. So now that Chovy has disappointed expectations that have lasted all year long and for the past several years as well, it only makes sense that the suppressed frustration of both T1 fans and haters are ricocheting back. I mention haters as well since they wanted Chovy to be the one to prove Faker's entire career wrong and are now retaliating in great bitterness.
Oner is also clutch this series. Sad he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves, his Skarner ult on that last fight won them game 4 and the entire series. Imagine if he didn’t caught Peyz on that fight..
@@aileene-ez9gx That was more of a peyz mistake than an oner play tbh. That ult was a desperation and peyz flashed the wrong way and ruined their comeback.
@@mykellederickpalad7883 can't blame Peyz when he is barely top 5 ads in worlds because jdg arent there and because ziggs exists. No one has any real expectations of peyz unlike for chovy who is the best midlaner and lol player in general. How he managed to do nothing in 4 games absolutely amazes me
Why can't people see that Chovy sacrificing teamplay to gold-pad himself all the time has been long figured out? Of course he will be ahead of the likes of Faker because Faker is sacrificing gold/exp to guma and Faker is also running around the map, supporting everybody. On the other hand, we have chovy powerfarming on Ahri on the sidelane.
I wouldn't call it choking, that seems cruel. But I do think the nerves really got to GenG, they are quite young after all. Faker has kinda perfected being locked in at worlds, he just sits there all zen with perfect posture
I think after getting behind, GenG tried to fall back on playing passive with macro and wait for T1 to make a mistake. However, that doesn't work if a team keeps pushing back aggressively, (and for the most part) doesn't make any mistakes. This series, T1 made fewer mistakes. They played better on the day. They also didn't resort to playing the same exact draft played throughout spring and summer, like GenG did.
not only nerves tho. t1 read the meta better and pushed any advantage they got in draft phase into leads. t1 prep, strats and champ pool is on another level rn
@@Nick11156 you mean a hater crying. There's been very minimal faker hater comments this tourny. Seems that the haters went back to their caves and wears the I'm not crying mask every time they go out lol
Seems like Drakos will cast the finals because he is the "specialist" of LCK vs LPL match at Worlds (Ashley also mentioned it briefly in this interview)
Lehends was playing weird even in the series vs FLY. The only reason it worked out for them in the end was FLY overplaying themselves and the rest of GenG bailing him out.
Look I'm not going to say Chovy choke because he didn't, Lehends did. However he was invisible for most of this series and from what I've seen most of worlds there's no other way to put it. He just doesn't seem to have the same impact he does in the LCK.
People are still forgetting about lck issues they don't scrim high tier teams( geng hle kt dwg dk) cuz teams are still scared or ddoss and they only scrim with teams like lbs bro nonshim and now have to play on special account just to play solo q can stream cuz ddoss will go again they never got to practice fully in lck but now they can scrim and practice and now show how they can really play
To say that making Worlds Finals back to back to back, 3-2, 3-0, means NOTHING unless they also win third time, is beyond crazy! Most teams dream of making top 8 at Worlds.
@@jannickbach-laursen8007 Most teams dream of winning Worlds, not making top 8. 8 teams make top 8 every year 😂. If your dream is to make top 8 you don't matter to fans. Buffalo Bills made the Super Bowl 4 years in a row and nobody cares cause they didnt win.
Time and time again the GOAT will always silence the haters. Gen G this , LPL that yappa yappa yappa but our king will remain at the top forever. Congratulations to T1 for their 5th Worlds title 🎉👑
