So Kratos wishes Loki kills his wife & child, wear their ashed permanently to his skin as an unbound curse, and murder his siblings and parents until the end of times, all after nearly dying on the battle field & making a deal with the God Of War?
@@autobotCRSHROkay if you’re just making a sarcastic joke, ignore the rest of this comment. But you’re clearly missing the point of the original comment entirely. A father seeing their son smulating him is a sign that they’re actually parenting them, as the son views progress towards maturiy to be like his dad. The point for the father is to make sure that the right parts of themselves are the parts that are being passed down to the son and not the bad parts. Kratos has a horrible, violent past where he was a horrible person. But he has changed into a teperate man who uses his strength sparingly and only when he feels it’s justified, this is a good trait. So Atreus trying to emulate Kratos’ use of strength is something Kratos would approve of, but obviously Kratos would not want his son to emulate *every* part of himself. That is why, when Atreus exhibits traits that begin to look similar to how Kratos used to be, he immedately corrects him, and turns Atreus towards using his Godhood for positive things. That is OP probably means when they say “At least, in some ways” A father wants their son to emulate the best parts of them, and correct the emulation of the bad parts of themselves. This way, if done right, the son ends up a better person than their father. That is why, when multuple times, Atreus expresses a desire to “be like you”meaning Kratos, Kratos always tells him that he does not want Atreus to be “like” him, but better. So Kratos seeing Atreus trying to be like him would make Kratos happy if it is the parts of himself that Kratos deems his best qualitis. Like we see multiple times in the second game, when Atreus shows prgress of maturity, responsibility, temperence and control, Kratos acts with pride and approval.
@princeytron omfg what is this 12 chapter book that you tried to slap me with?! I'll just claim sarcasm and grade your father's day project as a 82 out of 100...

@@garytaylor8193 kratos: you should work on your body strength. Who knows what you'll have to lift. Atreus: what can you lift? Kratos: a temple about as wide and deep as that lake the serpent was in. Atreus: I could sure use some of that Herculean strength right about now. Kratos: oh, you speak of my half brother? I don't think he'll be able to help you. Not with the way his face looks. Atreus: what happened to face? Kratos: I'm not a very good brother Mimir: you beat it in didn't ya? Atreus: ah, of course he did. Kratos: I bet he wishes he was still picking Apple's now.
I thought this was all MoCap. Like the child actor tried to hit something and HIS wrist bent, so we see it here. Could have been animated in after the fact, though. Christopher Judge, the guy that voiced and acted out Kratos, had a moment in this game kind of like that. Spoiler alert. Kratos kills Baldur. The fight was intense. Kratos reaches down to pick up the horn that will call Ragnarok but misses, only to grab at it again but with anger. That second grab wasn’t scripted - it was all Judge and purely on accident. Since it felt so right for the moment, it stayed. I think this might be one of those moments, but it could have also been scripted.
@@Gumbier_Than Yes, but you don't need to break the metal to break padlocks. While the lock body and handle are rigid pieces of metal that are fairly strong, the inner mechanisms of a padlock are thin and fragile pieces of metals that can break fairly easily with enough force. Cheaper locks you can often just force it open by pulling the handle apart with a bit of force.
Well kratos was able to punch trees down and Baldur who's a God so yeah if he punched a normal person at 100% your body would turn into a fine red mist
Kratos legit deadlift a skyscrapper sized golden statue and beat Zeus face till it becomes a blood orange juice with his barehand... like Mimir said, Atreus need to hit dem gym
Sindri: Hey big guy, Atreus tried opening chest the way you do. Kratos: *grunts* he shouldn't have tried. My way is done out of convenience. Atreus: but you make it look so easy. Kratos: for me, it is Atreus. But it will not be so for you. Atreus: was it always easy for you, even back in Greece? Kratos: *grunts* In Greece the chest were made of stone and precious metals, too heavy and to thick to break with brute strength, so I merely lifted the lids to get what I needed. Mimir: quite the ostentatious statement that brother, I can't imagine these were common around the area? Kratos: no, the gods and those in their service would hold these. But these places where well hidden and even better guarded.
When I saw this part of Atreus sneaking out with Sindri. Then he also gets a loot, this is the first time he himseld opens a chest, then he did this 😂😂😂 I'm crying 😂.

No he doesnt, theres types of gods, kratos whole power is strength, endurance and resilience, that is his god power, atreus has other innate godly powers, he is the more magical type, so yeah atreus have normal godly strength, just not in kratos level, just like odin dont have the same strength as thor, even though he is the all father, thor is much more stronger than odin physically, and kratos whole god power is revolves around physical prowess.
Sindri actually sounded like he expected Atreus to try breaking the chest with his bear hands, could have at least given him the benefit of a doubt.😂😂😂
This moment made me laugh so hard 🤣 I saw it coming too. I was like "man it would be super funny if he tried to open chests like his dad" and then HE DID. Love this game so much 🥰
Sweet: "There's a gym I go to just a few blocks off the Grove. Go down there and get yourself a gangsta's physique." Atreus: "Who are you?" Kratos: "Do what he says, BOI."
