In this video, I show how to attach the bent sides for an acoustic guitar. I talk about some dimensions in this video. Dimensions will vary depending on what plans you use.

I'm learning so much from your videos! Looked for hours on RU-vid to find half the info you give in just one of your videos. Thank you

Richi Chatfield thanks man I appreciate that! That’s kind of why I started making videos in the first place - I also spent hours doing research and culling through unnecessary info. Always nice to hear it’s useful for people!

Adam, the use of small blocks and double sided stick tape to set the block is Brilliant. Also, using the sand paper on the body jig to work block shape is a Great Idea.

This is such a cool build series. Thanks for putting these out. You have inspired me to try and build an acoustic. It is been something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Great work Adam! Love how you used those little cut offs to position the blocks prior to glue up. Wish that I had thought about that when I was doing my build............Thanks.............

Another great one! I like how you add the names of the individual parts/blocks....If you don't know what it's called, you don't REALLY know what you're doing.... Great series man! keep it up!

Tak uses a new heat treat procedure for their thermal top guitars. It gives the guitar an old, rich sound. like its a 100 year old guitar. It's just a spruce top but the exact process is probably a trade secret.

could you use a steamer box (used in wooden sailboat building) to steam those sides before you bent them? Would that be a better way? Less cracking? And then dry them out with the heat blanket after bent to shape and inside the fixture? I used to do that with aluminum in a fashion. I would build something out of bendable 1100 aluminum and then heat treat to T-6 hardness condition after completion. Seems like the steam process might work well.

Out of curiosity, why not do a mortise and tenon joint for the neck?

It's better not to mention it in the video. Because I can not speak English.
