Rest in peace, Kenny. In the end, it seems like all he ever wanted was to feel something other than his lust for power and affinity for violence. It's why he was thinking of stealing the power himself as its side effect appears to be changing one's personality (i.e. Uri and Frieda). He wanted to see if trash like him could even feel compassion and empathy. If he could see and feel the same way as Uri did... I also loved his speech about everyone being drunk on something, because it's so true. I was honestly surprised something that deep came out of his mouth. Historia went from that fake, goody two shoes nobody to someone coming into her own, taking command of her life, and becoming the Queen she was meant to be. This season has been fantastic for her so far! If Ymir was still with them, she would've hands down been cheering the loudest in that crowd lol. Levi's smile was also fantastic, especially after seeing his past! He rarely smiles so it was nice that his squad was able to put a smile on his face. Our freckle goddess Ymir is everything! I'm with you, Imon!! Spread that Ymir love 😄

True, Ymir has been 100% self sacrificing the entire story, from beginning to end. Honestly, she's one of the most selfless characters in the whole story, a lot of fans just don't seem to realise this for some reason. her whole character is basically that of someone who can't help but be selfless, despite realising it'll only bring bad things for her.

People don't realize it because they have a hard time understanding her character imo. If you actually take the time to though, you can see just how complex and developed she is, which is why she's not only one of my favorite characters of the series, but also a definite highlight of S2.

she was obsess with historia, she will literally sacrifice everyone in order to take her away with reiner and berthold, the only reason she didn't do it is because she ask her not to... i don't see that as "selfless"

@@esteban20969564 Yeah, but it's also pretty clear that she cared for the others as well. It wasn't just Historia even though she was the main priority because she loves and relates to her. There was also Sasha, Connie, and even Reiner and Bertholdt. She could've went with Historia and everyone else in the end when they were escaping, but she didn't because Bertholdt was crying out for help and it affected her. She can't stop living for others as much as she tries to deny it or keeps saying she'll only live for herself. That's why people are saying she's selfless. I personally see her as selfless in a selfish way, because she doesn't care about sides or agendas or even the goal of freeing humanity as a whole, she just cares for people.

@Asmaa Mohamed She felt sorry for them as well because like she said, she's the only one at this point who understands their position. She had empathy for them, and she gave herself up out of the kindness of her heart. That's the difference. She didn't do it for some ulterior motive, but because she genuinely felt for them. And yeah, repaying her debt is also a part of it but it isn't the only reason why she went with them. If she didn't feel sorry for them, then she wouldn't feel the need to help them or repay them in any way. She only felt this need to repay back because of how empathetic she is. That's the core of her character. Only cared for Historia? Then why did she stick her nose in Sasha's business when she was hiding her accent? Or even with Connie and trying to distract him from what happened to his entire village? Or even give herself up for Reiner and Bertholdt? Just because she cared very deeply for Historia compared to the others, doesn't mean she can't care for the others as well. She's not like Mikasa. When Ymir cares for her people, she really cares for them is what I took from her character. Just look at Reiner and Bertholdt. They are enemies of humanity to Eren and the SC, but does Ymir look like she cares about sides? No.

The Beast Titan, Reiner, and Bertholt are waiting for Eren back in Shiganshina. That's Eren's hometown that was destroyed in the first episode. Eren and the crew have to go back there to find what's in the basement of his house.

It’s not so much as The Reiss’s being bad people. It’s just that The first king had different viewpoints to how humanity should be. So whenever the next Reiss gets the founding Titan they get that same viewpoint. In the flashback after historia killed rod. You see Freida day that she won’t lose to their ancestors then after she got the Titan she did lose. So their not necessarily bad people

Frieda and all the Reiss family were still good guys as Titans. Everybody could see Uri this episode, everybody could see Frieda, first Titan built the wall to save all the people, Historia is good, all evidence told you Reiss family are good people, there's no evidence that they did anything bad. Why people always thought that they were bad? Because King Rod was fat and wanted to save people by killing Eren?

The walls enclose farming areas. The districts on the outer side of the wall are four in number, supporting the population. They broke through Shiganshina (district wall) and then through main wall of Wall Maria. They broke through the Trost Wall(district wall outside main wall of Wall Rose). But Eren plugged it up with a boulder. They are now inside Shiganshina, i.e., the area enclosed by the main wall of Wall Maria and the Shiganshina district wall. That's where S3 P2 action takes place. And remember, the areas where the titan concentration is more and the walls theColossal Titan and Armored titan broke were to the south.

Levi is tiny because at one point he was starving and if the famine in the Netherlands in 1945 is any indication starvation kind of increases health problems for more than half a century onwards for people that live through it at a young age.

5:27 Remember when you said Levi had weak ankles? Well...malnutrition is a bitch. 14:43 Sina is the inner most wall. Maria is the outermost wall (also known as the wall the Titans destroyed and invaded 6yrs ago), remember how Levi said now we can finally plug wall Maria after Eren saved them from Rodzilla? So that would explain how Reiner and them could be inside the walls without anyone seeing them as Wall Maria is currently deserted apart from the fact it is probably swarming with titans ofc. My theory is they're holed up in Shiganshina (Eren's hometown) but they could easily be anywhere inside Wall Maria. I find hard to believe they went all the way back to Titanlandia when they have a perfectly safe base of operation close to the other walls and also haven't finished their mission or retrieved either the coordinate or Annie.

I think that it's intended for the dead bodies to be unsettling. It matches with this show's gritty and mettle art style (which I love). It also makes the comedy way funnier because you have that contrast. Also, also it makes the character designs fiiiiine.

That looked like Shiganshina to me. Cause Trost would have people monitoring the place. And this is another walled city but it looks completely deserted. And on top of that he said they'll come to us, and we know Eren wants to go to the basement. Also Mikasa's expression when Historia punched Levi rofl. This episode was all kinds of tears of joy. But AOT always tends to throw you right back into depression after that. No way an ep ends on a happy note. But I'm glad they mentioned wanting to save Annie. I want Annie back too. xD

@@euomu it's not the "cleaning" itself, it's the way he does it and the shoots in both characters' scenes the writers want to show that there's a connection between Grisha (Eren's dad) and this Beast Titan guy. Plus, people now know from a couple of episodes before, Grisha was a Titan too. So, this allow the viewer to connect all the dots and make some conjectures: for example, is Beast Titan related to Eren's dad? Brother, cousin, son, nephew? Where they working together? Did they, as Titans, were special Soldiers/Weapons of a different civilization outside the walls? Does he also wanted the Coordinate of Reiss Family that now Eren possess, in order to set the world free or to dominante it? What the hell is in the cellar?????!!!!

Key words is "theyll come to us" because everyone on gods green earth knows something is in Eren basement and Annie, Reiner and Berthold must've relayed this message in my interpretation. Ymir whole life is self sacrifice down to her very name when they worshipped her and the fact that she kept it to this day is painfully sad. but the real mvp is L sama from the next episode, taking Ls his whole life till he went bald lol

Yes they were in the wall, beast Titan even said they would wait for the coordinates since with will come to them, and you said Sina, if they are in Sina then that means they are in the in the wall with erens house! Without spoilers you should remember: Eren has NEVER been outside the walls in the show so far. The forest where Annie attacked? Inside the Third wall. The area where they fought Reiner and Bertholt? Inside the Third wall. They have not gone outside the Third wall yet, and there are still abandoned cities, such as Eren’s hometown, inside the Third wall that are now filled with Titans

Beast Titan and the two scummy traitors are at the edge of Wall Maria, Beast Titan even tells the other two after he smacks down Reiner's candy ass "I won, so I choose the plan, we will not rescue Annie for now, as for the Cordinate, it will come to us, let us wait here". Also the walls go by order from inside to outside like this... Sinah (inner wall), Rose middle wall), and finally Maria (outer wall)

Imon is right, the Reiss family is not truly evil, whoever took in that titans power obviously knows all the truth of the world, thats why they all decide to keep it the way it is. Just like Uri, he used to be just like rodd reiss and wanted to kill all the titans. But after getting the powers he decided the walls and brainwashing is the best option.

thing is both uri and rodd were good ppl. when they pass the power to another the will of the first king get passed on too. so even if uri wanted to exterminate the titan the first kings will wouldnt let him.

Ik this is late but basically he was a scumbag his whole life but after he met Uri he decided he wanted to better himself and fight for a cause he believed in. Of course he still was a scumbag and wanted to steal their power but he was conflicted.
