Never even knew anime RU-vid videos were a genre but I've stumbled across a real pro with your videos, love the bleach content, well done my man your stuff is great
or you know, watch the shit yourself instead of getting your lore from tiktok equivalents... if you think videos like this do anything but slimline a series to it bare necessities your delusional and dont know anything but basic story threads , basically watching these video without experiencing the story for yourself is the equivalent of reading the blurb of a manga volume and pretending you know the whole story.
My guy is dropping multiple-hour long videos so consistently that I need to catch up. Guess I'll start here and work my way through them. Keep it coming man love the content 🖤🖤🖤
I recently discovered your channel because I watched Bleach over 10 years ago and want to get back into it for the release of the new arc and I've been really impressed with your Bleach videos. Now I'm pleasantly surprised to see you make an AOT video. AOT is actually my favorite fictional story of all time across any medium. You killed it with this video and I'm sure you put in a LOT of effort in to this 4 hour video. You probably could've made a video for each arc, though I'm not mad because I get to binge this 4 hour Masterpiece. Keep up the good work my dude. Edit: would be amazing to see you make a Berserk video!
1:34:37 point of correction, Erwin's is not sharing potential mortality rate because he's noble, rather he does so to scare the cadets from joining the corps so as to minimize their numbers. That way its easier to weed out the spies.
I don't think eren's real desire was to save Paradis and his friends, it is true that it was one of the reasons why he did the rumbling but is not the main reason why he did it, when eren and reiner talk in the chapter declaration of war, we can see that after reiner admits that the main reason he destroyed the walls was because he wanted to be a hero and wanted people respect using saving the world as an excuse, Eren answers "I knew, I really am the same as you", that is, Eren will do the Rumbling because he wants to witness that moment in chapter 131 that for him is what represents freedom using saving the island and his friends as an excuse. In chapter 131 when he talks to Ramzi Eren says this "It's to save eldia, but is more than that, what was really beyond the walls was nothing like the world i dreamed of, it wasnt like the world i saw in armin's book, when i learned humanity lived beyond the walls I was so desappointed, I wanted to wipe all away", Eren knew what he did was unforgivable, but he was so lost in his idea of freedom that he couldn't stop, Eren was a selfish kid lost in his dream of freedom.
Bleach is my favorite anime ever, but Shingeki no Kyojin is my favorite show of all time, beating out Breaking Bad for that top spot. It’s such an incredibly well thought out series.
Isayama not following through with the idea of Ackerman's "imprinting" on a host is one of my biggest pet peeves with this story. Such a neat idea that is easily justified by everything we've seen up to that point. Mikasa uncontrollably attacking Armin in response to him trying to defend her from Eren's tirade just looks so stupid without bit of lore that being true.
was pretty good but there's only so much "i see now that we are the same" and "i dont wanna do it but i've got no choice" i can take before it gets a bit boring
I know i'm probably almost alone on this, but i didn't really like this manga. The story telling in AoT just rubs me the wrong way, i can't get myself to like it. So many cool ideas and interesting concepts thrown in the plot that have been managed so poorly that the raw ideas are literally better than the finished product. The science fiction side is disappointing, character development is laughable at best, many characters' existance in the plot is there pretty much for fan service, plot twists are surely interesting, but the protagonists' reactions to new discoveries and their action plans are just not believable and raise quite a few eyebrows. If you like it, i'm perfectly fine with that, there are many positive sides to AoT, like the novelty factor of airborne combat against physically way stronger creatures, the animations and historic context, but as i said, i just can't ignore all those problems the series has.
While I did enjoy this manga, I can agree with your points. I always see people call AoT a masterpiece (Anime only or not) but I just never felt that way, because of poor character writing for Levi and Mikasa being killing machines without a personality and Annie wanting to see her dad again (wasn't she abused by him?) and Ymir loving King Fritz (the women of AoT seem to have mental problems). Certain plot points were just forgotten like Historia being pregnant (She is depressed in ch 107 but in the end she is smiling) and Mikasa being a descendent of the Azumabito clan) Convenient plot points like Reiner and Eren avoiding death after getting their nape chopped, the rock that was outside the walls that was big enough to cover the hole in the wall, Falco and Gabi finding hospitality in the house of Sasha's family, the vertical maneuvering equipment not running out of gas during the Rumbling, and Marleyans instantly believing Armin that he lost his titan powers. This whole time Eren was fighting for the freedom of Paradis only to have the Survey Corps fight to protect their enemies, which resulted in Marley carpet bombing Paradis anyway. Definitely an overrated series in my opinion.
Yeah, but woe be to the nation which bombed the shit out of Paradis... and the girl who will enter Eren's tree grave may inherit a WAY more vicious Titan.
Eldians are not cursed. Why would they care whether the curse is still around or no? Or is it that it's their life goal to seek and destroy it? His friends lived free, that was evident from the panek where levi , falco and gabu where roaming free without the armband outside of paradis
@@thrust7486 ah yes, "free", forced to live in marley because they are traitors at the homeland who was forced to live as diplomats because of eren decision. great mental gymnastic bro
@@thrust7486 oh yeah and i forgot one character who's been forgotten even by author, historia is now a leader of yeagerist. but i gues she likes it and she is free xd
I hate attack on Titan it’s boring the story doesn’t get interesting I don’t care what was in his basement but I’ll give you a comment in a like because I like your videos not attack on Titan no you can’t make me like that unless you were to give me money then I love it
You should’ve kept it to yourself. There’s nothing to hate about AOT. A lot of folks including myself love this series to death. So for you to say that you hate it, then you don’t know shit on why the characters behave the way that they do.
@@xavierstewart5756 even the author of your favorite story hates you all lmao, he literally give a shit ending and then proceed to shit on ending defender afterward for being dumb sheeps, he hate all of his fans equally and one side doesn't even realize it at all LMAO.
I might've hated Isayama for giving shit endings but in the end compliment him for proving the Yeagerist right and proving that the ending defender are moron.
What is sad about its conclusion is that in the end Eren is nowhere in control over his fate and the world. Everything that happened is predetermined. Even with all the influences between past and future results in a single timeline knotted in peculiar ways. Thus Eren is not responsible for how it ended but he was just following how it is supposed to end. In the end he didn't come up with an answer to the predicament that is for the world to accept the eldians of Paradis, free them from the curse of the titans, and keep his friends alive. In the end, fate/founding titan offered him his destiny that results in a lot of casualties, eldians or not and an indefinite future for the eldians of Paradis. To this end Paradis survives and some of his friends survived but the world struggles with its loss, thus all Eren has to do is follow what he is supposed to do. Thus making him a puppet character of fate without any further development in the end. And the whole series shows that we cannot change our destiny.
It is very unusual in story-telling, especially in fantasy, to have a character that is of two minds, like the mother. Typically she would be grateful, as she was, and then accept her fate, but the realism of the regret and terror is what elevates the story
I personally feel the problems really began post-Rumbling. Everything after Ch.123 felt too tropey. But looking deeper the small hints started post-time skip with the lack of worldbuilding and how Mikasa and Armin didn’t seem to develop at all. With all that being said I can’t forget how this series made me feel regardless of how I feel about the ending.
Sorry to ask you but how you got those manga coloured it's like anime actually sorry but can I get link of this colour version pls? Btw thanks this for this video it's was like a recap❤️
Great video. I enjoy the on-site as well as recap. These are my favorite videos. Where you discuss the events but also dog into the details that make events interesting. You do this very well.
