Congratulations!! My first baby just turned 3 months old and it truly does change your life in so many ways, but gradually you begin to adapt to life and can't imagine life without them. Those early days and weeks are HARD, but looking back on things now I can see how far we've come and how each day is getting a little bit easier. It's no walk in the park by any means, but I'm gradually feeling more confident as a mom and learning more and more about my daughter every day. Good luck, and hope you have a healthy rest of your pregnancy, and a smooth labor & delivery!

Ok but are the teletubbies carers for the tiddlietubbies or older siblings or gods?!?! Who looks after the teletubbies? Noo noo?? Who feeds the tiddlietubbies?! Who looks after them when the teletubbies are on other adventures?!?! So many questions 😂

We have these 2 single mattresses as part of an ikea day bed so he’s on one of those. However if we have guests stay then he’s on the floor floor 😅😅

They do have a spare room with a bed in! So it's not like he is forced to be on the floor xx

Definitely not! And whilst yes the way Dan parents and does stuff at home is great n don’t think it should be considered remarkable! The bar is very low for cis dads and I wish it wasn’t!!

@@morehannah I beg to differ) I'm not able to know for sure how it is in your family behind the camera of course, but there're great examples of attentive and kind dads who enjoy spending time with their children and I think Dan is one of them) at least it seems so) and I think he deserves an appreciation for that) in my mind he's doing way more than average men, most of whom are just coming from work and don't want to be bothered by anybody)

@@tleanvasner6866 All of what you mentioned is what most women are just expected to do without praise, and what men should also be expected to do without praise. Someone who does chores and cooks in their own home and parent their child is not helping out. They are doing what they should, it is their responsibility.

I would argue he isn't 'helping' around the house, as it's just as much his responsibility as it is Hannah's. Saying that, I have a 6 month old and her dad/my partner hasn't changed a nappy, done a single nap/bedtime, bath, feed, etc etc etc, so I am jealous of how much Dan does, but I do believe it should be the norm!

@@tess6536 nope, that's not really the worldwide truth) and it will never be) every situation is different and it is a fact that a big majority of men are either not interested in children that much and bringing child into the world is a wife's initiative and desire, or they don't understand how to properly communicate with a child, etc. and the communication with wife and children might be such a pain and stress for them that they naturally escape it in all possible ways, good or bad. They maybe staying late at work, or hanging out with friends, or even escape into new life with another woman. (dont forget, we are talking straightly about this kind of men). Some of men think their duty is take as much effort as they can to support thier family financially, working three jobs at once. And it should be counted as help too. By the way, in many relationships child is force onto a man by accident or his wife's hormones. And being that it is not his decision at the first place - why should he be investing in it with eager and passion? If it is still a loving relationships at this point, then, yes, he loves his wife and wants to help as he can. But the thing is - it's harder for a man to bond with a child as he wasn't carrying it in his belly for 9 months and doesnt produce milk, so he's involvement is NOT necessary according to NATURE. To bond with a child he have to put a lot of energy and effort and often he's just not able to do that due to the way his brain chemically works or the way his personality already estsblished. So when you say it should be norm it is just a wishful thinking, no more. The reality is far more complex and it's sad that you don't want to accept it. Saying that I think wives should deffinetly HELP thier husbands to bond with thier children if they see a difficulty occurred. Help, not force, not demand. And do not expect as a norm and then being all fussy thinking why isnt he helping me, that son of a ! When this wave of feminism will finally ends, and the men will be liberated to stand up for themselves, I believe, there'll be a lot of divorces.. men will be escaping their ever demanding brain sucking and often not noticing their effort wifes.

I’ve now finished it and I’m excited to get more of Shollon in book 2. I found it quite slow tbh but the end was worth it and I have LOTS OF QUESTIONS.

I may be wrong or misinterpreting which part of the video you’re referring to, but I believe she’s probably censoring it to cover Rowan’s face, rather than to cover the breastfeeding itself

Also, even if Hannah was covering her nipple due to the RU-vid ridiculous and sexist restrictions towards female nipples, it would be fair from her to do so. We can't expect creators to get their content ( = income) on the line, definitely not the ones that get often unfairly demonetized because of their topic of focus (such as Hannah with her sex ed stuff). I agree with you, it's unfair and BS about the double standard but I don't blame RU-vidrs for following the rules.
