Now that I've been able to build my E93 BMW 335i to make 550WHP, it was time to see if I could actually make it count by putting all the power to the road. The last time I attempted to record performance numbers such as 0-60, and 1/4 miles times I got nothing but wheel spin. Today we will try to address that and re-record the acceleration numbers.

@@Scooterboii94 supposedly an N54 owner but you don't know that 550whp through the rear wheels and crap tonne of torque will overwhelm the tyres or that RWD cars are suited for Roll racing more than from a dig like AWD cars? 🤦‍♂️ I own a Tuned RWD N54 myself and the performance numbers from Stage 2 turbos on E40 are impressive and definitely can be improved upon, nothing annoying. Constructive Criticism is good, but trash talking isn't really criticism.

It’s what happens when people watch RU-vid videos all day of Supra’s, Corvettes and other cars with close to 1000 hp. 🙄😂 In real life, there are not many cars on the road that make more than 300 hp.

315s don’t fit under the arches, 305s just fit with rolling the arches, 295 will go without it being to low n the right offset

@Vehicle Virals You can do Boost by Gear and Launch Control right inside your XHP app, and tune it yourself. Use "Custom Launch Control" to set your initial launch torque (non-moving and foot on the brake). Then use "Torque Limits" to set your maximum rolling torque by gear. Will make a night and day difference. Even has presets to get you started. No need to control the throttle yourself when you can just teach the car to do it perfectly for you every time. The throttle is basically just a go button on modern cars. Keep in mind that zero wheel spin is how you break things in a hurry. Start high on the torque, and work your way down until you just BARELY chirp the tires, and then hook like mad. Long as you always spin the tires just a tad at the launch, you shouldn't have to worry much about things breaking. Once you're rolling things are fairly bullet proof, so as close to zero wheel spin is the goal. If you do happen to break anything before the giveaway it's honestly 1000x times more likely to be the axles than the transmission. Axles are a pretty easy swap if thats the case.

R888Rs are expensive, but from my experience they are great to drive on. I'm running NS-2Rs at the moment which have done the trick nicely in the dry, but are pretty horrendous in the wet!

Been watching this channel for a while now. This guy has invested a lot of money and more importantly time into this beautiful car which for me is the best 3 series thus far. This has just cemented in the fact that I'm going to go down the path of maxing out my stock twin turbo setup rather than upgrading. Kind of seems pointless to make more power for street use unless you spend big money on tyres. Will be a hell of a lot cheaper too

You have almost inspired me to do video on the real 335i N55 powered Msport E93 which after watching yours .Mine may be the quickest to 60 out there....3.89 in 182.72 ft. posted this May 23rd. 335togo on Draggy will show the numbers and a pic of my 2011 Dopemoblie lol. and for the record if you look at other BMW times my 182 feet would put it near 3.5 times if I didn't have to save my transmission :) Maybe you need some PSS S4 in 265 to lock it down....Good Luck on next build.

Ahhhh the frustration. I know the feels. Maybe past the point of usable power for a dig my man, that's all. With 450hp (Australian dyno) I managed a few low 4's and one 3.9second 0-100kmh (62.5mph). I imagine with 100hp more my car would be slower off the mark. All understandable buddy.

Lol dope ride ! I think the solution to the wheel spin would be install a Limited slip differential. The other solution would be boost by gear perhaps both would be needed going higher in whp. What do you think?

Love your vids man! Be glad tho about the wheelspin, got myself a 335i e91 FBO daw stage 3 825rs on e50. I wheelspin at half throttle in 4th gear on dry roads :P tho i´m currently running 235/35r19, would like to put atleast 255s in rear and some stickier tyres but I don´t think the difference will be as big as supposed. Hopefully I´ll hit the 600whp mark when I get it on a dyno in spring =)

Maybe better subframe bushings. Along with diff bushings and stickier tires would help. Suspension plays a big roll in getting power down to the ground as well

try to use xHP Flash Transmission. With this, you can control the gear without changing automatic in rev limit

R888 and boost limiting can bring it down to the 3's, I've seen the guys in Australia already achieved it. In any case, low 4's is more than fast enough, and roll racing 100-200k will be seriously fast, 👌 Hope the new owner looks after it.

From a dig, you'll really need an LSD or a spool for that much power on that small of a car. My 335 was sketch AF when I raised the boost with all the bolt-ons. Let the haters hate, I bet they would love to get the car...lol. Rock on man, I know that car has 3.X second 0-60 in it, it's just that that platform wasn't built for drag.

Hey man. If you want to get power down, proxes aren’t a good compound. MT ET street S/S would be sufficient. If you need more grip, drop the tire pressure as well. Some suspension mods wouldn’t hurt and some weight on the back too. Consider putting a sandbag in the trunk or something

Wait, you don't have xHP transmission tune? I have xHP on my Ps2 with port injection and flexfuel and a custom transmission tune from Sutphine Tuning and my car is very controllable. Although I never do hard launches, even with my custom upgraded Propulsive Dynamics transmission. It will get squirrelly in third gear if I do slam to the floor though...I have never been interested in 60 times though...I'll have to give it a try sometime.

Adding an LSD is the primary fix here. I drove my M235 for 2 years without an LSD and then added the M Performance clutch-based LSD. The difference in traction is immense. It basically feels like you've added 500lbs+ right over the rear axle. My M235 6MT makes about 400wtq, weighs 3,380lbs without me, and I have no issues with traction running fairly narrow 245 width Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires out back assuming ambient temps are over 65 degrees (the tires need heat). Without the LSD, my M235 was all over the place and was convinced that I needed wider tires to contend with all the spin. That clearly wasn't the case. The LSD also increases the car's ability to sling shot out of corners rather than fishtail and lose forward progress. The LSD was easily the BEST performance mod I've done to my M235.

They're great for the launches but sucks that they lose a good chunk of power through the drivetrain when doing rolling races, plus your engine has to work harder to push out as much power to each wheel. But they do feel great when driving normally

@@xandres9451 Yep they are horrible with rolling races I can attest to that. The xdrive system robs alot of power but honestly i'm not the type of guy doing quarter mile runs all day which is why xdrive is an better option for me to daily drive. Also snows where i am in the winter. As for the engine having to work harder, i don't think thats the case. It would be the same on either RWD or AWD platforms. Theres also something called Xdelete if i want to experience full power going to the rear wheels. Might still be slower tho when compared to rwd due to extra weight of transfer case on my car.

I don't think my 16-year-old 190 HP E85/M54 could beat you from 0-60, but from what I've just seen I'd be really close, i.e., 'No Wheel Spin." But, then again, I haven't spent $7,500 to go fast, 'in Mexico' in a straight line either. ;)

The Kia guy is my favorite!! Don’t matter if a Kia has 1billion HP!! It’s a KIA my guy. Plus this car is built horse power! I would say built not bought but I do think you should actually work on your own car. Or help work on them. I’m not trashing you at all I’ve followed you since you bought that 335. Keep it up bro.
