KDKA's Jennifer Borasso spoke to a man who was at the Trump rally in Butler Co. who claims he saw the alleged shooter on a rooftop near the campaign event.

Multiple people saw him on the roof not only crossing but then crawling, and told police or security. How do you not secure the only 2 story building???

The Secret Service dropped the ball because there is no,way in Hell that ANYONE should be permitted anywhere near a Protected Person. This is 2024 not 1963 in Dallas, TX
That one was a complete failure without a good explanation also. The fact that Jack Ruby got to Oswald is unforgivable too. The reason the public doubts the official reports is that the failures were so completely unbelievable.
Sir, I went to the book depository bldg where Oswald was waiting and believe me there is no way that anyone could have known he was there. He had planned the assassination with every obstacle in place. I am sorry this happened, but when bad people want to hurt someone they will find a way to do it. It could have been worse, but thank goodness it wasn't.
Some are questioning why the Secret Service allowed four shots to be fired before acting to protect Donald Trump. Don't they have microphones to detect gunfire and immediate alerts?
The media and the ruling-elites have been fanning hysteria about Trump for years. Telling everyone that "democracy is over" if Trump wins, or "the world is in big big trouble" if Trump wins. This is why they are so wrong for lying so much. It's gross. Thankfully he's ok.
The police were told multiple times by multiple people that there was a shooter on the roof and they ignored every single one of them. That is unacceptable and people need to be fired
I'm sure they will conclude that Trump did it himself. He was colluding with some extreme right-wing MAGA boogeyman group to overthrow democracy - and its also somehow very racist of him to do this terrible thing to himself, so now, he will face new felony charges.

You could see him processing what he actually went through in real time. He goes from being in a normal state, just talking, explaining what he saw, to looking like he’s about to burst into tears and stuttering. You can see it in his eyes…. It’s occurring to him right then and there that he and other people could’ve died today. I think he’s also realizing that he witnessed a historic event.

There was barely a pause between the shooter's gunfire and that of the Secret Service. They had the shooter spotted and sighted and let him fire off 3-5 rounds before returning fire. A witness had time to report the shooter, return to an area where they could observe again, and then return to report on the shooter a second time? Something isn't right.
Nothing? He said 2 cops were actively looking for him around the building and from the time he saw him on the roof to the time he reported it he started hearing shots too soon for them to get to the roof. It sounds like as soon as they did he was neutralized.

He was outside of the SS perimeter, but local cops were told. They are to blame. There's only one acceptable response when multiple citizens are reporting that there's a Manon the roof with a rifle. He has to be cleared. Either a) yes, he's one of our snipers, or b) he's unaccounted for & must be immediately addressed. The silence right now is just like the eerie deep state induced silence after the Vegas shooting.
This is not the only guy that told authorities about the shooter before the shooting. The rally should have been paused until they checked this guy out.
Something is suspicious about this. You would think the Secret Service would’ve scouted high elevations. The rooftops. They would’ve had people in position in those places. They would’ve swept those places. It’s kind of a hold the whole point of the Secret Service. Why wasn’t this done here?
The security couldn't see him when the witnesses were reporting that guy was on the roof with a rifle, for 5 minutes. But after he shot the rifle, they shot him in the head immediately. Poor timing and poor security altogether. Why weren't the cops on all those rooves to prevent anybody climbing up there? How come you could see him from the ground for the 5 minutes but the security on the roof couldn't see him from up there?

To be fair, the secret service can’t be everywhere. The real question is that if people saw the shooter and told police, why weren’t the secret service notified?
Did 45 pay PA what they were owed for past security? Maybe they had fewer staff this time. But it's not up-to-date them, it's the secret service. If it wasn't secured they call the event off.
Yup. You know what would have stopped this? Not letting regular civilians walk around in public with a rifle without a license (hunting/gun training). You don't need a rifle for self-defense in public. Someone would have saw him, reported him, and the arresting officers could have discovered his plot.
Or... and hear me out here, we could stop trying to focus on taking away people's freedoms and focus on getting the mental health crisis under control. First step is to stop having to worry about offending people with mental illness and open avenues for actual treatment in stead of the limps wristed affirmation crap that has failed to work. Bring back institutionalization so we can get people help that they need.

I went to a graduation at West Point one time when Clinton was there and they had snipers on every rooftop you could see. Somebody dropped the ball on this one.
I noticed the same thing at one of Clinton’s Ralleys before Election of 2nd term. Secret Service even went to a local high school to investigate a rumor that had started early that day beforehand. This is according to a Rumor I had heard; so don’t know if it’s true. They also didn’t let anyone climb any trees cuz no one could see the stage (we were standing on Flat ground ).
well he did say that he informed an officer and then very shortly afterwards the shots were fired so likely they didnt have enough time to contact secret service

You are right. I thought, that was standard protocol. but, I haven't seen the full location and structures of the area where this took place. the only possible excuse it, there is too much ground to cover. even that is just an excuse for the name sake with all tech and resources.
Just remember dead man don't talk. I work in Milwaukee and whhe a president travels through all roofs are secure. Except this time of course. Wonder why?
