Can’t believe how many people showed up. Cabin fever for sure. The Kubota tractors looked pretty good, I think more people are looking at those than back in the day. Looks like milder weather is here by February/March standards, everyone want to get out of being cooped out. Boom!
I had a John Deere 494a 4 row planter just like that 2 row. I had just gone through it and had used it to plant sweet corn. It worked great. It didn't look bad, no rust but I was going to paint it just to make it look new. I ended up only able to get $500 for it. O well, I'm glad for the guy, lol.
Love to have that Super A! A couple I’ve had years ago the wheel weights were 75 pounds each. That JD planter I would’ve gone $1200.00 on it...my son has vegetable plates for it! Oh well I’ll fine him one! Great video! Saw one guy with a coffee and not a cheeseburger or hot dog to be seen! I’ve never seen a Super A in that good of shape go that cheap before! I just learned from a guy who is a Super A collector he said weights came in different weights 55, 75, 125...
Very good price on that Super A. Got mine for $2400 but had full set of cultivators, pull behind bush hog, disk hillers, middle buster and a bunch of other odds and ends.
Massey does sound good that would do my brother lol it's only missing the loader lol. It made good money. WD 800 dollars cheap wee tractor. I liked the Kubota now that's the tractor for my brother. Still holding it's money. But there pretty reliable. Ready to start work the little Kubota nice little tractor. Nice one mate good auction. 🤜🤛
Holy cow looks like I am going to get into the business selling old 2 row planters for food plots. I mean in my area that prices is insane. Want to go into business? I'll buy them and ship them to you, then you bring them to the auction since the prices are better there. After cost and shipping fees I'll split profit with you 50%/50% and we will still make good money after cost!! I'll also send them with running wcs in much better condition if that one sold for 800 we would have no problem making good money if them too. In my area in east Central MN back in the day Allis Chalmers dealerships conquered the area so they are a dime a dozen for wcs and wds
I was there also. I live about 5 miles away from WTC Auction site. I was wanting the Super A too, but my range was 12 to 15 hundred. The Auction is always the last Saturday of the month. Sometimes they will slip in one or two special auctions though.
I have a super A that I installed a 200 engine in it with a overbore kit. I have a 59 inch woods belly mower. great little tractor. I like Farmalls I have at least one of every letter series Farmalls ever made.
Hello those A's and 100 will go and keep going my dad had one of each on 60 acres baled hay ,cut hay, hauled bales, spread manure, disk, seeded raked hay, plowed ,did it all and pulled hay bales up to the top of the hay mow Cjd wash state .🤔and all 🇺🇸 made there you go ! FARMALL in the old days but it worked and put the extra money in the bank .p.s. in the dealer 1 time to get the valve,s ground when they made things to LAST.
The Massey went cheap. I liked the Super A. I would like to get a Super A with the touch control to mount a belly mower on. Here they are hard to find.
I thought that was a lot of money for the super A .I didn't pay that much for any of my tractors. Like the saying goes, it takes at least two people that want it for a good price.
my uncle has one of those wc's Alice Chalmers, it might be fine on flat ground but hauling loads of hay up and down hills on gravel road really sucked, because of the hand brakes.. that feature is actually dangerous.
Reserve seemed a little high on that last Kabota from late 90s with unknown hours. 13,500? The 90 HP Massey seemed to stay low. I don't know if it sold or not.
You do know those superA's had no brakes backwards to speak of the much better choice is a 140 have it got rid of the A' plus nicer seat little more power on a 140 oh much better looking too.
