bro, thanks a lot for the video! I rode the brm400 too but didn't make it in time for CP2. Really liked the scenic route passing through small towns. Congrats for finishing it, as a solo rider nonetheless!
no problem bro, that's the reason why i love to join Audax because of the scenic route and those places i have no been before. you didn't make it on CP2? ehh... how come?
Thank you, bro. Long-distance riding does require preparation, and besides that, you gain more experience on this adventure; it's a survival experience. Next time, you can tag along with some group if you encounter some place with which you are not familiar and make friends along the journey. If you DNF, that's ok, but don't take it seriously, and you will improve from time to time. All the best, buddy.
Have to agree with you, solo need strong mindset and mental pushing it through. Glad that you completed your BRM400, now is the time for your knee to rest. Please do take care yourself, once the knee damage, it takes quite long time to recover fully.
Actually the pain is not that serious. The pain only trigger when you perform climbing & only to reduce pain by cadence spinning. Some spray will do the job. Is about mental game 😅🙏
Congrats Allen for completing the 400 km ride despite knee injury and riding lone ranger. Thank you for the great video of the places and scenery of your ride. Too bad did not have the opportunity to meet you in person, I took part in the 200km ride. I am beginner in long rides and watching your videos and seeing you and your gang having fun and enjoying yourselves in your many rides has a motivating influence in my rides too. Till your next video, hope your knee recovw
Sure bro Allen, hope to meet you in the not too distant future. You are right, determination, dedication and love for riding are are factors which motivates us to fix our butts on a tiny saddle to peddle and peddle through rain, thunderstorms, scorching heat etc. just to be rewarded with the experience of the natural high and bliss when we complete a tough and challenging ride. Till then happy and safe riding.
mana ada legend... haha... you just need to kayuh more mileage aje. most people tak tahu because of panas. train more on panas weather, bila dah biasa then you can go extra mileage 😜
