Love the straightforwardness = detailed, direct, easy to understand, and to the point. Related note: where do you find the boot tailgate sensor that indicates whether the tailgate is "closed or open"? Mine has failed on my 2006 A3, and I'm having no luck finding info on the part #, or location under the trim

The sensor/switch for the tailgate open warning is inside the boot lock mechanism (the part that we remove in this video), as far as we know it cannot be bought as a separate piece, it comes as a complete boot lock assembly.

@@SelectVehicleSparessame problem here too... So, best solution is to get a new lock mechanism..and swap?
