AUDI A4 B8 clutch and flywheel change  

I done it 4 years ago with out talking the DPF too.

you removed it from the top of the car or under the car

@@gavmcp11GT that’s spooky same car back in the workshop today for a timing belt and water pump. Regarding the seized in steering rack bolts tried getting the box past the rack er no chance in the end we just went for it used a three quarter drive breaker bar which didn’t have any flex in it unlike an half inch bar anyway they came out but I have to say it was a bit worrying at the time. @@gavmcp11GT your right about using some heat it will help greatly. Other garages I’ve worked for in the past have had oxyacetylene gear it’s a must have really current garage boss tells me his insurance forbids the use of it so we don’t have it. I’ve taken it upon myself to purchase some map gas canisters and a torch the same as plumbers use while not as hot or versatile as the oxyacetylene set up I’m quite pleased with it.

Hi wen you change have you you change all set flywheel. Clutch disc. Pressure plate. And. release bearing

@@HugoCalisto It was a solid flywheel so that wasn't changed the kit came with pressure plate, disc and release bearing.

Did you use the clutch with the correct springs rated for a solid flywheel? if they mismatch you will get chatter but the vehicle will run fine.

Hi bro you need to see when you driving 40mph press gas full down if the Rpm going up and down like losing power.. if yes you have a sleeping clutch .

No, you don't since the cylinder has been dismantled just from the gearbox without touching its own oil line supply.

Hi probably is the gear box transmission issue ..or the gearbox selector mechanism

Hi is very difficult access but you will be able to turn the crank from the bottom with ratchet tool but you not gonna have much space there.i did that on this way
