Did you also have issues with your rear main seal? I hear once the PCV has a leak, the rear mail seal also goes out, and they’re synonymous in going bad.
@@RandyLott well the story is The white top is a newer version that requires the ecu flash + front crack seal replacement. The black top is for engines made from 2009 to march 2012 that don’t have the ecu flash..
@@RandyLott the newest version of the old part (black top ) ends with AH. The newest variation of the second version (white top) end with AK. Which page of the owners Manuel did you find your part number please?
@@clbeob I just purchased one for my Audi A4 B8 2009, I went to the main dealer and they gave me the part with the white top, ending with AK. Not sure if it will work? Have you tried it in your vehicle?
@@GBGamingHD call a couple of dealers and speak with service department. Audi A4 2009 comes originally with the black top ( current iteration ends in AH) . For white top installation (ending in AK) ECU needs to be flashed and front crank seal needs to be changed as the white top builds more pressure inside the engine vs black top that’s why this procedure is done. White top they gave you can be installed in engines built after 2012 without that procédure. If you install the AK without this procedure engine code may appear.
