The reason diesel's sound the way they do is because of the log headers ... this is more free flowing with the exhaust manifold .

@@lukasstiftner1167 422PS und 860Nm, was schon für ein auf Drehmoment ausgelegtes Mapping spricht, also maximale Zahlen, egal wie sich das Fahrzeug fährt - "beste/r" ist immer ansichtssache, aber ist jemand sicher nicht, wenn man die höchsten Zahlen rausbekommt, was hier der Fall scheint - durch Bekanntheit kann das Unternehmen nämlich nicht gerade glänzen. Und ich spreche in allen Punkten aus eigener Erfahrung. ✌🏼

Natürlich kann er das, zwar nicht alle aber die von VAG TDIs schon. Downpipe, 76 mm Edelstahl Abgasanlage ohne MSD und ohne ESD und er bekommt so nen Sound. Geht sogar bei dem 2.0 TDI

The Audi A5 3.0 TDI is 245hp. The next tdi 3.0 is the 3.0 bitdi of Audi A6,A7. The A5 don’t have this motor. The new A5 have 3.0tdi 272hp.

Sound depends on your engine size. If you have tdi v6 2.7l or 3.0l then deleting silencer will make your car sound amazing with custom exhaust (stainless steel). Anything below these engine sizes will make your car sound like a truck. I have audi A4 V6 2.7 (2010) diesel so saying it from experience.

I see, if you want to keep your stock exhaust then just get silencer delete somehow near you lol. These v6 engines make deep sound so when you put your foot down it does make really nice sound even on stock exhaust.

@@Yama83 Also find any custom stainless steel fabrication people. It will be cheaper and sound damn good. There is super sprint exhaust you can buy online but they are very rare and expensive to own.

I own one, mines quiet as a mouse standard. To get these types of noise, you need dpf delete, cat delete, center resonator delete and back box delete, preferably with decent headers, bigger turbo and straight pipes stainless steal.

Stock exhaust system wont create these sounds, full straight pipe. Wider the downpipe and exhaust throughout the louder. These will be 3” inch downpipe to full straight pipe setups, no dpf or silencers

For a sound exactly like this, yes. But you can achieve similar results by removing the DPF only or (if it's illegal in your country, like in mine), remove the back exhaust silencers. It wouldn't be so loud like in the video, but it'll sound a lot better than factory.

All of them are between 2007 and 2016. And within this generation of Audi A5 (8T) there are 2 phases : the first phase is between 2007 and 2012. And the second phase between 2012 and 2016. But honestly I can't tell you whether the first one in this video is a phase 1 or phase 2.

Hey man! Awsome sound. I have taken away both of the silencer on my a5 3.0tdi 08. But im still not satisfied with the sound... I think its to quite.... You know what i can do to get more sound, without removing the DPF and cat? :D

There's not much else you can do... The DPF restricts the sound so much. Just gutt the DPF and Cat if you have laws against it :)

Yeah I work with fixing mennonites cars and they straight pipe their TDI Jettas! they are not that loud but atleast you can hear the turbo whistle... and they make 70 mpg because they remove EGR and then they reprogram the ECU , and lots of more stuff.... they also are manual and have so much power !! The wheels keep spinning out on to 3rd gear

I have a 2011 Audi TT QUATTRO S LINE , TDI . PLEASE can anyone tell me whats the best way to get the TT sounding MORE SPORTY or just even giving it a RAW as i go through the gears. COZ its not sounding like anything at the moment . Cheers . Guys 😃👊
