From someone who owns this car I can tell you the handling is way better in an A6 but steering a little better in the 5-Series. The good thing about the A6 is you can change how the steering feels in the Audi Drive Select
At the start the license plate is OYII HSX, but in the driving part it is OYII HTZ. The one their driving has Xenon headlights, while the other one has the cooler LED headlamps, isn`t that a bit weird?
Honestly, you buy a car because you like the looks and if there is not anything annoying about it. So really, if you like the way Audi's look, then buy an Audi. If you like the way BMW's look, then buy a BMW, or any other car. Because if those two things fall into play, then it is a great car.
FWD is much easier to manufacture and much cheaper. It's also much better when there is less grip because its got the weight of the engine above it pressing down, gaining more grip. RWD is much nicer to drive though because the front wheels are just there for steering, rather than coping with both the power and steering.
@FIDTRO BMW has had the Carona rings as daytime running lights since the 5 series back in 2000, all Audi did was use LED technology to light them up, BMW was the first manufacturer to offer something remotely stylish to daytime running lights AKA Angel Eyes, then Audi used the LED eyelash effect in 2008 and then Mercedes Used the LED diamond lights in 2009. Its not like Audi invented LED, thats been out for years. BMW simply upgraded to LED lighting, the DRL's have always been there.
That's soo cheeky at the start the number plate is HSX and when it's driven it's HTZ then when comes to the end the number plate reverts back to HSX lol...I wonder why they did that
Front wheel drive is just fine in winter. Other than that, if I'd pay this much money for a car with this large wheelbase, I'd want rear wheel drive for better driving dynamics, combining style, luxury and performance.
@lbryan250 Yes, there where two different A6 sedans in this review. One was equipped with the Bi-xenon headlights which are standard in both the "Premium Plus" & "Prestige" trim lines however the other was equipped with the "Prestige" trim line which is the only trim that allows you to opt for the "Innovation" package giving you the full LED headlight technology .
I would not compare it for Mercedes E class or XJF. You can compare those cars with Audi A8 with aluminum air craft grade body shell with the E or S class.
E Klasse, A6, 5er etc. are belong to C segment AKA "Executive" class. As for examples, C Klasse or similar cars is belong to "Compact Luxury" class. As for opponent, S Klasse is belong to D segment as we call it "Full Size Luxury" class....You just made a pathetic comment.
Parking sensors are "generous equipment." Transit vans get parking sensors as standard. You're just so used to being ripped off by German brands, charging the earth for kit that should be standard on an exec car. Look at Infinity m series. - That has generous standard equipment!
Wrong, the new steering in the 5-Series is junk: too light, no feedback. It's day and night compared to BMW's old hydraulic system and most reviews say Audi's electro-magnetic system is better.
@Demineralize yeah man, but i want to experience driving using good old fashion oil, moreover electric cars doesnt really have awesome sound. neither the speed as well :(
