I am an Audi fan. But this car doesn't looks like an Audi. Neither the exterior is charming, nor is the interior. Lesser cars like xuv 300, nexon and sonnet might be having better road presence than this Audi. Let's seeee.....
It's a cbu import, that kind of price would go for only Honda , Hyundai n VW's hatchbacks.. Like the i30 n golf.. Audi obviously cannot price it less than 35L anywhere
The exterior looks like an expensive Suzuki Swift wearing high heels.. not a looker for sure. I might be wrong, but this has a face which only a mother can love. P.S: the tail lamp looks like a mixture of the Swift and Polo.
Rich ppl will buy a better vehicle than this simply coz they could afford it. And those who can't afford will buy this and scream am drivin an Audi !!!
I test drove the Audi Q2. The video does not do justice to the presence of the vehicle. With all the negative comments I still found it a great car to drive.
Car of this price missing: 1) Touch Screen 2) Ventilated Seats 3) Rear AC Vents 4) Rear window Blinds 5) Non reclining rear seats 6) Powere front seats Not a very good looking car neither from exteriors nor from interiors.. would be a too much of compromise for just the Audi brand
I thought that this was just a cheap Audi for people to show off, but with the Quattro 4wd/awd system, powerful engine and really nice interiors, I think this car is not too bad of a deal
Led DRLs was introduced by Audi, AWD drive systems on a saloon was invented and mastered by legendary Audi Quattro, audi multitronic transmission was the best iterations of CVTs which Japanese couldn't achieve to handle high torque, Audi S tronic transmission with wet clutch is best iteration of the dual clutch transmission what more innovations??? Audi's trade off was once robust and reliable. Again you spoke about Audi Q2.....Q2 is the distinct design language of Audi line and was hit worldwide. What killed in India is it's pricing and not the car itself.. high price point since its fully imported units CBU and lacked some wow luxury features. Top spec sold more than A4. Reason to pick is for its Highly refined 2 L engine with 7 speed S- tronic on a car weighing less than 1.5 T with a Quattro AWD, great steering, drivability, dynamics. Being a CBU unit it must got to have all wow features which is a biggest Downer for Q2 and a blunder which Audi did to Q2. In overseas, I had A4 with 2 Litre naturally aspirated engine with multitronic gearbox drove for 272000KM and sold in Tip top condition.... biggest blunder in my life....after that I had bmv and Merc but still missed my A4..... Except Lexus I wouldn't compare anything close to Audi those days(2005 - 2011) for its sturdy and at the same time comfy feel. I guess future luxury EV segment in India will be dominated by Audi, Lexus and Volvo....
I think the right market for this car will be the second car purchase buyers who already have a large sedan like A6 or A7 and want something compact yet luxurious and fun to drive for those short drives around the city.
This is such a disaster care by Audi. Even the cheaper SUVs like VW Tiguan, Skoda Karoq and upcoming Hyundai Tucson are far better than this old dated junk. Its a same blunder which VW did in India when they launched Ameo.
This is on such a sweet spot, Why it can't be built in India , might bring down cost to 26-27lakhs ...and make it more appealing...I will love to own an Audi Q2 at 28lacs- ish price..

Remembering the time in 2017 when I got the Q3 TFSi at INR 35 L. Don’t regret my decision and it can still beat the new Q2 which is extremely overpriced, terribly unattractive both from inside and out. Unfortunately if the new Q3 gets launched anytime next year, the price would be much higher. This shows that despite such bad economic conditions, the prices of cars are going upwards at a massive scale.

It will capture market of MINI n BEETLE only bcoz at same price point full size SUV GLOSTER is there with Adaptive cruise control n tons of segment 1st features.
