One thing that gets me down is people who don't understand something like the motability scheme. This car is under 120bhp which is the limit for people under 25, it's a good looker and tall enough for disabled people to get in. I think it's a great package for £400 advance payment. Yeah maybe it's not too good if you want to outright buy it or lease it, but in some ways it's a great little car

its fine, its just a little button that you push upward and you hear the breaks turn on. theres also a hill start/stop assist that helps with hills of course.

Callum Boothroyd thank u I got the 1.0 lite sport model on Friday , the handbrake is kinda automatic as long as I tap on brake when stoped it kicks in, I was worried as first lights I faced was top of a hill thank u

They provably keep the titles updated unless the car itself gets an updated version. Look at the titles of the old Dacia duster or citroen c4 cactus reviews for reference.

Im so sick of all the comments saying its a big Polo or Golf. In manufacturing, its so common to share common components and designs in a car. Also, most people buying this car dont even give a damn about the review. Meaning, they arent car people. They will buy because of the brand, its higher up, technology inside. Why do people buy iMacs?? You can build a pc for half the price. Get over it ppl. Consumers are different. Im sure some of you buy Nike shoes instead of Target brand runners.

How come everyone always asks why they sell it? As a consumer you're getting more choice, doesn't do you any harm. As for the car, I think its pretty smart of them to offer this, if you look at the nissan juke, its everywhere, similar proportions, Audi knows people like this size car and now they have a car to fulfill these peoples needs. In the end they will make money, and that's all there is to it.

I've had 3 Audis and this one was garbage. I could write a long article trashing it. Sold it. This presenter didn't even talk about the terrible suspension undoubtedly linked to the inferior platform.

Why would anyone in their mind take this over a Golf or an A3? Less space, more weight, less fun to drive, less fuel efficiency... what is the point? You can do "mild off-roading" in ANY car with 13+ cm of ground clearance.

Although it seems to be £7K cheaper than a Q3 (entry vs entry), if you compare spec for spec there is not that much in it. The Q3 is much more complete and can easily be a decent sized family car.

Hope you don't hate it like I hated mine. Sold it after 9 months and took several months to unload it. Before you make an excuses, my Q2 was fully loaded with the 190hp petrol engine. Suspension road and drove like garbage. And don't sit in the backseat. An engineering embarrassment for Audi.

Driven one of these, non-s-line, found the ride quality to be too firm, very bouncy. Interior was brilliant though and the 1.4 TSFI had loads of punch that you’ll need for city driving

Manoeuvring with DSG is best done by releasing the footbrake and allowing the car to crawl. Not by using the throttle. I would have thought that you would have learned that by now. DOH

if people buy it for the badge they could just buy an A3 which is also has the badge but actually makes sense as a car. Crossovers don't make sense.

Liv Z there are a ton of crossovers that make more sense than the Q2. It has nothing to do with my requirements for a car (which do include the need for greater ground clearance than a standard car). You mentioned the Tiguan, there's Skoda's Yeti as well. Or if you want bullet proof reliability, something you'll really appreciate in tough conditions, there's a whole host of Japanese models that destroy the Q2 in value and technology. But they don't have that precious Audi badge. Hell, there are plenty of models to seriously outdo the Q3, if you can get over the badge snobbery. So the only reason an otherwise objective person would buy a Q2 is because of the badge, and you'd be a fool if you bought a Q2.

"People over 6ft will just about be able to cope in the back of this car..." Wrong Mat, I've tried this car out. It's cramped all round and that dashboard swoops into the front passenger legroom. Clever easter egg though ;)
