@@thenoneckpeoplerepresentat8074while that may be the case, what are the chances that somebody would do such an excellent job? Highly unlikely, unless taken to a specialist that’s highly respected.
If I could find mechanics like this I wouldn’t mind spending money! How many actually do everything they’re supposed to do. So many ripoffs it’s hard to trust most places will complete a full process without trying to screw you into next week!
This foam is interesting. Seems like it has good cleaning properties. These videos are proof that these modern, especially DI engines are expensive to maintain. You have a ton of ecology equipment which can fail, everything is made out of plastics and then there's this carbon buildup issues. This has been somewhat remedied with added port injection. Also it doesn't help that VAG engineered the timing and pulley system to be at the back of the engine. Everything's just crammed. So for any maintainance you have to pull the motor. Thanx for the video!!
@@juamiso well.... That maybe so. But when it's time for the battery to be replaces you're gonna have a bad time. Cuz it's economically unfeasible. Too expensive. So what about used cars market?
Outstanding and impressive work, indeed a very nice job and excellent presentation, where I come from we used to warm up the engine, take about one quart of water dump it slowly into the intake system while holding the throttle running above idle until running out of water then put a little marble mistery oil, to lubricate the whole intake system, remove the spark plugs, inspect for carbon in the cylinders, guarantee a quicker, cleaner cheaper way to clean for carbon deposit, but that was the old school. That was on carburated engines.
The attention to detail and dedication to the craft are amazing. I do not want to know how much this process cost. I have a direct injection Buick Enclave. It gets a $12 can of Seafoam Upper Engine cleaner every other oil change and it is pretty happy with that.
Use any other kind of fuel treatment than seafoam PLEASE! Seafoam was made for 2 cycle engines that use a fuel and oil mixture, vehicles nowadays are 4 cycls and dont mix oil and fuel, you will be unnecessarily burning the oil in the seafoam in your engine. PLEASE try lucas or a better brand of upper cylinder cleaner and you will be much happier with the results 😊
Fuel never reaches the valves. You're seafoam is only cleaning your fuel system in removing moisture. Complete waste of money on a direct-injected vehicle. Your car is probably carboned up really really really really bad.
Excelente video Maestro Steve , como arreglar la carbonización de un motor , es un taller completo con todas las herramientas para realizar el trabajo mecánico, felicidades desde nuevo León, México.
thanks and u have impress me a lot! greeting from norway! this is the quality you work with.. when you understand and have knowledge about cars and what they need to work in perfect conditions!
This kind of service should be done to any car that uses direct injection. I recently did it on my VW Touareg 2009 that has almost 240k miles and the car is running like new, pretty smooth. I also replaced the engine mounts, transmission mount and rear and front axle bushings.
I'm America we put Lucas fuel injector and carburetor additive in with the gas. We change the oil, filter and air filter. Check tire pressure and rotate tires. Fill all fluids to the proper levels and call it a day. 😊
@@blazingverde cool, I have a Ram with almost 200k and a C6 with 233k. Maybe it is the great preventive maintenance, great gas, some fuel additives to help with the fuel, air, spark, compression and the exhaust system. Maybe it is what makes the home mechanic in the garage FEEL better saving mechanic cash for something else. 🤔 I never been to a mechanic (except for recalls or warranty work when new.).. I have been to a tire shop for tires and a alignments.
@@blazingverde works pretty good keeping my injectors clean and atomizing properly..clears up any misfiring, rough idling and corrects the check engine code reset goes off. It might not clean the intake or exhaust valves however with inspection, proper maintenance and cleaning they should stay fairly clean. 🤔
I did my apprenticeship at Porsche many many years ago, then main dealers, then 2 garages myself,,,I always preferred dismantling engine's rather than putting them back together.
