This was my 2nd time out to Mission Raceway with my drag radials. I managed to line up a couple of great races against some American Muscle. I also had the pleasure of racing my buddy's car down the track. I had such an amazing night at the drag strip and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Yeah man these things are little pocket rockets, I've seen S3's smoke Infiniti's and Mercedes AMG 43 cars becuase of its all wheel drive and insane launch control.

Love the RPF1. People use to crack on my S4 because it wasn’t “stanced” with my 17x9 RPF1s .. until they caught that smoke from the twin 28rs. 😂

Your car is so ridiculous! I’d take it over the other flashy car for sure and the sleeper is always the best pick. I recently sold a 996TT (manual) after 13 yrs of ownership. A Charger Hellcat pulled up beside me in it a few months back. Man did ever make me realize where things are at these days in about 2-3 seconds. I recently sold it not just because of this jaw dropping experience. It was time for a change. I just purchased a ‘18 S5 with pretty low miles. I needed something that is good all year round. The AMG’s are scary in the snow. I might consider a tune for the S5. I don’t need anything crazy, please let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks!

@@robb4879 I would patiently wait for Unitronic to release software for your car. They may take longer to get to market but you'll get a more refined tune which will drive extremely smooth and offer you additional power. Maybe it just allowed the RPM's to get too high? Fuel slosh caused a drop in rail pressure? This video was shot 3 years ago, so I can't remember if we found out why. I was running shi$$y Custom Code software back then though so impossible to say.

My interior is in my basement, lol. I think between the trunk, rear seats, passenger seat and racing seats I saved around 300lbs.

Anyway to do the opposite of what you did for the burnout, and make it close to 100% rear wheel drive? Might help with the understeery nature of the car in corners.

Sadly no. The AWD system in these cars is FWD biased meaning that power always goes to the front tires and then to the rear tires. It is physically impossible to turn it to 100% RWD.

I have been able to run quicker times when going through the gears manually. When I go out next I'll try leaving it in S and letting the car do it on it's own again.

Wait!!!!? I thought the RS3 was awd?... burn out :/??? Stripped interior, ouch. How much was the stg 2? $4-5k? Or $6-7k? How much bigger is the turbo vs stock?

It is AWD, but I basically remove the fuse that controls the Haldex system to do a burnout and warm up the front tires before I launch. I'm still running a stock turbo. Stage 2 is just bolt on's. The turbo is untouched. Stage 2 parts retail for $4199 from Iroz Motorsport.

@@StreetAllianceCarMeets there are other companies out there with cheaper parts but I went with what I consider to be the best. I imagine you can get an intercooler, downpipe and midpipes for closer to $3000 with a different company.

What's up man congrats on the 1/4 time again! Just keeps getting better, getting me excited for my setup not too long till its complete. Brilliant video, I reckon a demon factory would have been a very interesting race. You seen the syvecs ECU? Expensive piece of kit but looks serious! Excited to see how that diff changes the car too!

Thank you very much! I'll see if I can line up a race against an actual Demon next time haha. Syvecs looks so sick but in my opinion only really worth it if I upgrade my turbo. I'll start saving for the diff but I'm not sure I'll be able to get it in this racing season. Might have to wait till next year.

@@VancityAudi that's exactly what I though of going big turbo this year. Just focusing on drag setup and maximum stock turbo output. May as well before the car is taken to the next level. I think if a lot of money is spent on a big turbo setup including supporting mods and build the syvecs is the icing on the cake so definitely a future plan!

@@TC-db5fm hell ya. Syvecs is badass for sure. If I have the extra money I would totally go Svyecs. CC has some epic tunes for hybrids and big turbo's already though so depending on where the development is next year we'll see what route I go with.

For now I just have a single fan blowing down the back of the engine bay to cool the turbo.

Vancity Audi I meant more details on the fan you’re using and what kind of power supply you’re using to power the fan. I was thinking about getting a portable generator and fan to have for track days.

@@SRTst Oh, my bad. I just bought a 900CFM carpet fan to cool my turbo. I ordered it off of Amazon. The power supply I use is a battery powered unit that has an air compressor, lights, ac/dc power and so on. Sad thing is the batteries don't have enough juice for the whole race day. I'd recommend a gas powered generator if you have the ability to use one.

Lol. If I don't cut the wheel during a burnout I only get power to one of the front tires. By turning the wheel it helps direct power left and right so they both spin during my burnout.

Sadly no. Where I live, if you're going 40km/h(25mph) or faster over the speed limit they impound your vehicle and issue you massive fines. I'd rather just play it safe on the track.

And that was no ZL1, LoL. 12.5@112 is about what a stock SS runs, but closer to 113-114 mph. A stock ZZl should do 121-123 mph.

I was pretty surprised at what the Audi will do we have a regular running 11’s but the Zl1 are a lot faster than 12.5 I run better than that with my SS at 3700ft

The ZL1 1LE was running 11's, not 12's. His personal best is 11.5 so far.

Oh, I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of riceboys - best defined by their appearance. They’re the ones with the gutted and spray-painted civics. Your car started as fresh sauerkraut but is well on its way to being stank fried rice. Pointlessly stripping the interior will get you there. Put that shit back in.

The IROZ RS3s look and sound like Civics, to be honest. No, they sound worse. And they’re in large part FWD. And they’re still slower than a lot of big turbo Civics, if we’re being honest. It all makes one question: why bother starting with that awesome platform if you’re just going to wipe away all that makes it unique and just turn it into an expensive Civic. Resist.
