Sanctus Audio Makes High-End Audiophile Cables For Speakers, Amplifiers, Pre-amplifier, DACs, etc as well as tweaks are often made in the same factory for many companies, limiting the flexibility in what they can do in audio cables. This Korean Brand decided to take it into their own hands.

Jay...I enjoyed this more that you know. You Igayi clan is with you all the way. It was a pleasure to hear Mr. Young discuss his company and his products, and as a fellow audiophile who is also a coffee nerd, to see him doing a coffee pourer in the midst of his hit gear was epic for me. I will buy some of his products down the line, thanks Jay for introducing us to him. There are so many audio companies in korea that dont even see the day of light here in the states and its good were hearing more about em thru you (btw, you were the first to show Hifi Rose to the masses before anyone on YT).

Can someone please explain to me how a very expensive speaker cables can matter when the wire components inside of the speaker and inside of the amplifier are not expensive. Isn’t that the equivalent of sticking a cheap little piece of metal at the end of your very expensive speaker cables and plugging them up to the speakers.
@Jayiyagi
@Jayiyagi Год назад
A few things regarding your question. Short answer is that “measurement wise” some cables measure better than others but is always out of our audible perceptible range. There are many audiophiles that hear differences in Cables including myself, too many to just push all of those people into the “crazy” group or identify it as simply placebo. - in my opinion. My hypothesis is that many of these measurements that have been existent for a very long time are not measuring the thing that we hear. From my experience with cables, It is not about being expensive. Many legendary speaker companies in the past chose their internal speaker cables as part of their tuning. To answer the core of your question; it is important to realize we change what we can. We can’t change electrical wiring inside out walls or the electricity being brought to our homes. Similar to water; if you had a crappy pipe bringing water into your home - what is the point of changing the pipe or hose you have in your home going to do? Well, it won’t change the amount of water or quality being brought to your home through the crappy pipes but having a good quality and sized hose or pipe in your home (which many have) will allow for less leakage problems and allow for less water loss of the water brought in by the crappy pipes. And that is what many of these cables companies are trying to do - to have no loss from amplifier to speakers and each components.

That's Sanctus Audio: No ideas of their own, unable to develop their own products. They prefer to look around the world at the professional competition and copy their top poducts. The Sanctus power strip, for example, is based on concepts from the German company HB Cable Design, both in terms of external design and internal construction. Only the materials are likely to be different and of lower quality, because the original materials are specially made for HB Cable Design and are not available for copiers. May be the same for their cables. Well, typical for such audio dilettantes. Big mouth, nothing behind it ...

The difference between Capitalism and Communism.
@erics.4113
@erics.4113 Год назад
@@leoanthony7281 hey Leo, I know the communism word has been used a lot recently, with few knowing what the manifesto actually contains. In communism, the people own the production. If you work in a factory, the profits from that factory go into your pocket, not some corporation or government or business owner. You and your comrades get together and decide how those profits should be divided or reinvested. Did you know that communism has NEVER been implemented? Anywhere. Never. It's always been dictatorships, totalitarian regimes, or rich oligarchs that own and control everything, but they call it communism. Much like n Korea that claims to be the people's republic of... They claim to be a democracy! It's neither democratic nor communist. The people own NOTHING. it's all government, specifically that family, which makes them a totalitarian regime.

How can one explain the impact on the sound? Between the power cable and the device is a fuse, which is the weakest version in that chain…. Only double blind testing can prove something. But if a buyer perceives it as better, no object and good for him.
@MattSB2588

I'd like to see some blind testing and scientific proof that there is any difference, from a half decent, cheap cable, whatsoever. Unlikely.

Yeah I’m not understanding how electrons can be “more pure”. It doesn’t make sense to me and I don’t understand how sound quality could be different. I would be happy to be proved wrong, but it either needs to be something that can be measured, or can be AB tested in some way. Otherwise, we are just listening with our eyes.
@jonathandavis9507

As he said it increases the volume of amperage and current to the power supply. Assuming you have a demanding supply that would benefit from this. A low quality cable can actually act as a resistor.
