Funny thing is a friend ofmine introduced me. To this band a while back. And he's agnostic. Hard to find decent christian metal. This is truly both! God has blessed these guys.
I love this song. The lyrics are deep and hit the nail on the head! The way I interpret it is kinda like; certain people are blinded by pride which devours their very own souls and puts them in a state of danger, and so they refuse to accept, acknowledge, or appreciate the truth, and so despite their pride and arrogance, they are thus rendered as nothing contrary to what they believe themselves to be in their own conceit which puts them at enmity with the truth, leaving them vulnerable for the truth to destroy them, or in other words; a reality check, and so they don't wanna accept the truth or the fact that they are destined for failure and destruction, but despite the fact that they don't wanna accept it, denial is even more dangerous for them because as long as they stay in denial they only hurt themselves by defying the truth all the more by doing so, and so for them it would be better if they would just kill themselves because their lives are useless anyways.
