Originally the show wasn’t taken seriously by him nor any of the producers. It was originally intended just to be a show. Nobody predicted that it would be as big as it was. They didn’t even print enough records during debut because they thought they wouldn’t sell but when they debut they sold out 234k copies because that’s all they had prepared. They could have potentially sold more than any girl group. But again Diddy didn’t take them seriously and wanted to make a show, not a group. The whole series is him just berating them, BUT this did build very strong character growth for all of them. I met dawn Aubrey and Shannon and all of them said it was horrible but they came out wiser, stronger, and improved not only in dancing but singing immensely. No justifications but overall he was creating drama.

Being in that business very tough so God each each of them and they all did there best , that's very mentally exhausted just intertanment and selling , everything.. Well God bless them all..

Dawn has a very well know career in the indie market working with major companies like Adult Swim and working major festivals including Coachella. She is very well known in the indie market but it’s indie so it’s not mainstream or catapulted like from indie to mainstream like a Grimes.

Thats a lie dawn wrote the music and her voice had things that the other girls couldn't do facts why you think diddy said dawns voice was special out of all the girls she was the group she named it she wrote for it and she also helped out with choreography on welcome to the dollhouse sorry dawn brought more than any of them making her the group lmfao and the last one standing the others aren't even doing music anymore yet she still is

@@dlj2922 Aundreas voice can do things Dawn can't as well Dawn and others literally confirmed Drea had the highest register just because she's the only one still making music doesn't mean she's the most successful because her music isn't that popular she's a very obscure artist these days the other girls found success in life in ways outside of music them leaving the industry was a personal decision not one based off talent compared to Dawn this crap is honestly the reason why the group suffered because you guys are always trying to compare them and lift Dawn up and isolate her skill and leave the others to the side which Dawn has said she hates.

Yes she married, but she was not pregnant right after it. After Dawn were kicked out from the group, she admitted that they had already internal issues in the group, she said those were some of the reasons why drea left. There is even an interview on rapup tv where Andrea is looking angry at Aubrey and say to her, I'm not the young girl anymore that you knew, I'm a woman and Aubery asked dawn if she is referring it to her ! To the fans, she said family life, but there were more to the story.

I think she pulled out because the toxic behavior that was there the first go round was still there the second time. And there was no diddy to blame it on the second go round lol it’s unfortunate.

I disagree especially cause Aubrey& Aundrea were both offered solo deals during and after DK. Aundrea basically quit & Aubrey had legal issues which is why she’s either released independently or done reality shows. I agree that none of the girls (besides maybe Aubrey/Dawn) we’re propped for solo success and I think had they done 1 more album as 5 there was a chance one of those big stars could have emerged. One of the biggest What Ifs

@@mdoz730 Drea can not stand pressure. And she made that clear throughout the entire series even in Aubrey’s own show “All About Aubrey”. Therefore putting her as a solo artist with the pressure of competing with acts at the time such as Britney, Rihanna, Christina, Nicole Scherzinger, Beyoncé, hell even Lady Gaga and Katy Perry at that time, there is no way her image and vocal tone would sell like they did, ESPECIALLY coming from a reality competition television show. Aubrey blew her career after assaulting her dog on live television for a semen sample so she could birth a new dog after her old one died. Again they have vocal talent but it only works as a unit. Dawn has had a successful indie career working with franchises like Adult Swim which is big with the indie hip hop/alternative scene but everyone else no. If they had more albums I think Dawn and Shannon would have made it out alive. Dawn has a particular vocal tone and sound which not many pop/RnB artists have. Shannon had a perfect vocal for country. Aubrey would have sold SOLELY based on image not music and Drea and D.Woods sadly would have been left with crumbs. It is what it is sadly. But to say Drea and D.Woods would have had successful solo careers after the end of Dk even after 5 albums is kinda crazy to say.

I also disagree, this was a great time for solo artists, especially a Latina one with amazing vocals. She definitely could have gone far with the right team and marketing. I love dawn and will forever feel like she’s slept on

Dawn and D.Woods were the best singers in the group. If Aundrea had more control over her voice, she’d be there too.

Andrea was the best singer in the group BY FAR, and the vocal coach said that she was the best of the entire competition.
