Aurizon's First Standard Gauge Train To Port Of Brisbane - 29/09/2023 

Welcome to a Rail Town Productions film, in this film we are featuring: Aurizon's first standard gauge container train to Brisbane since December 2017. This service originated from Melbourne and terminated at Port of Brisbane. This will be the first of many container trains which will be running weekly as part of a contracted service for Team Global Express (TGE). Aurizon locomotives ACD6047 and ACD6053 were the locomotives tasked to the job on the Glenlee (near Sydney) to Port of Brisbane (Fisherman Island).Our chase commences on the outskirts of Casino through to Lytton (near Port of Brisbane). The train number for this run was #4MB1 until Acacia Ridge then followed QR Train Number rules and became #K833.
