Re: The five minutes away part. When my father wanted to divorce my mother, he also bought a house 5min away from her. Because he didn't want me and my sister to travail long to get to him. (We stayed a week at my mother her place and a week at my father his place)

I will say, its not always the case that the one who is devastated post break up is toxic. My ex was a narcissist and broke up with me over a problem they caused in the first place. I tried to mend things because I was dumb and didn't realize my worth while he just went out and enjoyed himself. Now, 7 months later I am glowing and he is trying to contact me in every single way, insulting me when I reject him. I blocked him.

Not on anyone's side here but just saying that living close to each other can be because of the children and that they wanna make it easy for them 💜 Personally when my parents divorced they both had to move to apartments and they lived like a 10 minute walk from each other which was nice for me that lived at both places and they didn't mind because they co-parent well together 💜

They’re both toxic in their own ways, but I feel like she has had enough. She stayed and fought for their relationship through all the cheating and she truly loved him and wanted to be together for their kids, but he is so toxic in their relationship I feel. I think she’s been emotionally not in their relationship for awhile, but loved him so much she didn’t want it to end and she finally was done.
