Keith Lee CALLS OUT SMALL BUSINESS for stealing $4000... 

it just goes to show: if a person is not ready to receive their blessing, then it's almost a guarantee that they WILL fuck it all up somehow

I would understand if she had $2,000 of business and only gave out the amount of free food he paid for. She missed the point. Free food WAS a marketing effort. People come for the free food, try it, and come back. It's so sad to hear she abused the situation. He was so kind to come. This kind of thing may well kill her business altogether.

I saw a story on tiktok from my country today. A man from a minor ethnic group in the mountain area collided with a parked car while riding his moped. The owner of the car wasn't there so he sat by the car and waited 2 hrs for the owner to return so he could pay for the damage. He was poor though so he couldn't afford the whole thing but he paid some in advance and promised to pay the rest another day. The car owner appreciated his honesty and refused to take the money. Not only that, car guy visited the moped guy's family another day. The moped guy invited him to stay for dinner and even cooked one of his chickens to treat the guest (this is a common gesture for people from rural farming communities). The car guy uploaded the whole story onto tiktok and people were very moved. People then donated a bunch of money to moped guy so he could buy a new moped to replace his old and damaged one. He was happy but even then he said the money was too much for him and he only wanted some and the rest should be for other people in need. It was such a great story about good people meeting good people. It's the complete opposite of this whole food truck family. Greedy and selfish.

This got me SUPER heated too. She got super greedy, like Keith told her EXACTLY what to do. When she said 'if Keith told me to give it to them I will" - BRO he DID tell you exactly what to do Omg. And then she's bringing up god!

I think he is definitely a food critic, but he's also a good restaurant critic. To your point about "we all know...", we all know good customer service and we all know bad customer service. He's been really good at talking about all aspects of the restaurant experience.

Of course, a much smaller tip to be split, but we found out our manager kept the 500 bucks that was supposed to be split with us all to himself. We make 2.13 an hour because we depend on tips and that was supposed to make our night. Let's just say, he lost his whole staff and the restaurant hasn't been doing well since...

I can see why Keith thought the other vendors being there was a regular thing. When I’ve been around in Atlanta, there are several little “mini farmers markets” (that’s what I call them, if there’s an official name, let me know) with people selling food, doing hair, selling clothes, hats, etc. it’s a really cool concept and I wish it was more common.

Apparently another catering business in Dallas is getting harassed by being mistaken for that lady’s food truck. The business is called Seasoned Street Food and I hope that their business doesn’t go under due to people assuming that they are Sweetly Seasoned. That would suck. Also, that lady is greedy as well as her son.

I could write an entire 10 page essay defending Keith Lee. The amount of hate he gets is SUCH INSANITY like it actually shocks me

Personally I don’t think I’d have assumed that give it out how you see fit meant sending it in whatever form works best. I thought he meant that the $2000 that was going to the truck itself could be spread between her and the people working in the truck/with the food like the owner, the cashier, her son if he was helping anybody else they had helping out that day etc. he makes it sound like they had a few people helping out that day so i would’ve assumed he was saying give something to your employees too

Keith seems like such a sweet guy. He’s honest and kind and he doesn’t deserve any of the hate he gets or drama that he gets pulled into. He was just being kind! The owner should have done the right thing with that money. She messed with her own bag because now nobody is going to support her business. If she had done the right thing she would have made that money back tenfold.

I think what he did was nice but as a small business owner the taxes she would’ve had to pay on that would’ve been rough 30% of the 4K would’ve looked like income for her so all the money for the other people would’ve been added to her taxes. He should do it in a way the business won’t be taxed
