The 2024 Nissan Patrol Warrior by Premcar is in the business of shaking things up - with an Australian twist. Based on the Y62 Patrol, the Warrior is the product of a collaboration between Nissan Australia and Melbourne-based engineering firm Premcar, which was behind Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) in the heyday of Aussie car manufacturing.
Much like the Navara Warrior dual-cab pick-up before it, the Patrol Warrior upper-large SUV ups the 4WD ante with a series of adventure-focused upgrades, all of which attempt to establish it at the top of the off-road pecking order. As such, the new Toyota LandCruiser GR Sport is firmly in its proverbial sights.
In this news video, CarsGuide Deputy News Editor John Law goes to the Patrol Warrior's manufacturing facility to get up close and personal with its MY24 update, which ushers in an overdue multimedia system upgrade that includes touring maps. So, is this 4x4 wagon the default choice for adventurers?
