Hi Classic! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We are overjoyed that you like the salsa. It’s our absolute favorite and we are so happy to share! We appreciate Rand wish you so very well! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
I did make this salsa and it is delicious and I mean delicious! Will be our go to salsa now. I have Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning but have never used it in a salsa until your recipe. Thank you for your video. We are subscribers now. 😊
Hi Robin, thanks so much for letting us know you tried our salsa recipe and we are overjoyed that you liked it! Thank you also for subscribing. We really appreciate it. Our little RU-vid channel is growing now and we are having a blast getting to know our followers. Blessings to you and yours!
So nice to see a pretty young lady creating content with her father.....thanks for sharing. I use those same tomatoes from HEB, great flavor and price....
Thanks so much for watching and the feedback. We appreciate you! We love cumin and think that would be a great addition. Going to try this on our next batch! 😀
Hi cvan, thanks so much for watching and commenting! We agree, Tony’s has so many uses and we use it on a myriad of things! Let us know if you try it and how you like it! We appreciate you and wish you a great day!
Nothing bad for you if you cut back on the amount of salt. I have a salt substitute I use and some no salt Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning too. Just saying. The salt issue is for people with high blood pressure. :) I cut back on salt where-ever I can. I'm looking forward to trying the recipe.
Hi Richard! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. We agree you can definitely cut back on the amount of salt and it really won’t affect the taste. In fact, we find that substituting a little more citrus )lime juice) in place of the salt can have a very tasty result indeed. We really hope you’ll try the salsa and let us know what you think. We appreciate you! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Looks delicious! On your description below the video you listed 2 TABLESPOONS of creole seasoning and on the video you mentioned 2 TEASPOONS which makes more sense. Otherwise it will be way too salty. I do like the recipe ingredients and I will definitely make. Gracias!
Hi anapardu and thanks so much for watching! You are totally correct and I am SO glad you brought that to our attention. I will adjust the amount in the description to reflect 2 teaspoons. We hope you'll try the salsa and would love your feedback if you make it! Do you have any other good salsa recipes you use? We are about to film a green salsa video that we really like. Thanks again for watching and commenting. We really appreciate you!
Hi anapardu, thanks for checking in again! You are exactly right and we recently went back and looked at it and we must have edited out where Elizabeth added the juice of the lime AND the apple cider vinegar. Good grief!!! 🤣 That was totally our mistake and we really sincerely appreciate you catching that and bringing it to our attention. We have updated the description to make others aware. The best time to add both is after adding the tomatoes to the food processor. We hope you will try the salsa and we would love your feedback. We’ve been making it for years and everyone that’s tried it has loved it. We appreciate you!
Thanks so much for watching Joe and you are totally correct. We had another viewer point that out and it was a part we left out. It went in, along with the Apple cider vinegar, before we added the Chacheres. We hope you’ll try and welcome any feedback. We appreciate you! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Spyder, thanks so much for watching and commenting! We think that’s a GREAT idea just calling on Tony’s! Takes all the guests work out of it. We appreciate you! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Steve, thanks so much for watching and commenting! You could use pickled, yes. It may alter the flavor but it will still taste great! You could reduce or omit the vinegar. It should be a good swap. We appreciate you!
We would suggest using fresh lime juice if you can, but bottles if you don’t have fresh available. Thank you so much for watching our video and we appreciate you so much.
Hi Sergeant! Thanks so much for watching and apologies for the confusion. We typically use 2 limes and you can adjust to your own taste. We hope you’ll try it and let us know what you think. We appreciate you! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Horace, thanks so much for watching and commenting! You are correct and we accidentally left that out of the video. The best time to add it and the vinegar is after adding the tomatoes to the food processor. We hope you will try it and we would love your feedback. Have a great day! We appreciate you 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Rebecca, thanks so much for watching! You could probably heat/cook it in a crockpot - to be honest we’ve never tried it but it’s a great idea and worth a try. I think you would still need to go through the food processor / blender step but yes. And the salsa is REALLY good heated! Please let us know if you try it and how it works. We appreciate you! 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not a fan, at all. I cut the creole in half and thank goodness. It would have been waaaaaay to salty. I wish I would have cut the vineger in half too. The vineger gave it a "sweet" flavor which was over powering. EDIT: I tried adding more Creole thinking that's what would balance the vineger but it was way too salty. I ended up putting the salsa in a strainer and rinsing it for a minute to rid it of the salt and vineger. It became edible after that. Still on the hunt for a good salsa recipe.
Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback. We really appreciate it. It’s a great world we live in where everyone can have an opinion. We hope you’ll find a salsa you like soon. Wishing you a blessed day.
Thanks so much for watching Christopher, and for leaving a comment. If you wouldn’t mind we would love to know how you pronounce it phonetically. We live in Texas and that’s how it is pronounced here - even in TV commercials - which is probably still incorrect! 🤣 Where are you from? Wishing you a great day! 😃
Hi Maria and thank you so much for watching and commenting. We use that seasoning because in Texas it is in all the taquerias and it tastes great. We tweaked the recipe many times over the years and finally came up with the best tasting salsa we've ever had. And have had countless people agree with us after tasting it. The reason we hadn't made it for a while it because we made it SO much and spent so much time providing it to people who wanted it, we took a break. We appreciate your comments and wish you a very blessed day!
Hi lostpussycat1, thanks so much for watching and commenting. Apologies for leaving that part out about the vinegar. It went in, along with the Apple cider vinegar, before we added the Chacheres. Let us know if you try it and if you like it. It's really popular and we absolutely love it! We appreciate you!
@@livingthealleyway5777 Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I will definately let you know how it turns out which I’m quite sure it’s going to be 😋
