I had these from a Polish deli in Chicago before the covid plague. I'm happy I found this video. This channel doesn't get enough views. It's great -- nice personality, good teaching.

Going to make some of these and take them to our daughter in law who just gave birth to our new granddaughter ... she had a bad time (5 days and then a C section) so she's to exhausted to cook and needs to heal. Finger food works well!

My Bocci, {not sure of the spelling} when asked about amounts in recipes would say "how much you want". That was not a question. Well that nails it down? For a beginner that is not so clear but now I know what she meant.

Mmm. I have made little croquettes with leftovers just by grinding and breading. Where my Babcia was from they must not have put them in nahlesniki. This is a must try recipe.

So you are using basically what is left over after making chicken stock? I usually put most.of the chicken meat into the soup, well at least the shredded breast meat. So do you save the dark meat from making stock with the rest of the carrots, celery, onions and use that? Usually I just throw away the bones and vegetables leftover, this might be interesting. I suppose you could use flour tortillas for the wrap?

You could probably use tortillas or flat bread for this recipe and make different stuffing for them. I bought polish croquettes in Polish store in New Britain but found them being mashed and greasy. Fresh nalesniki are better choice.
