I’ve spent over 40 years on this planet feeling like I belong on another one. But it’s OK - I’m just autistic. Not an alien or a superhero - just a human being with a brain that isn’t like most people’s brains. It would be cool to fly or jump over buildings or shoot laser beams from my eyes, but it would be cooler if autism was accepted and not infantilised.
