What makes this funnier, and heartwarming, is that Optimus tried to befriend Megatron back when he was Orion Pax. He's speaking from personal experience when he says "not to befriend Decepticons!"

I love how Optimus in this series cycles between being the Autobots’ disgruntled manager and their annoyed father.

2:39 “Red!! The hell you doing?!” One of my two low-key fave Smoov moments. Prime sounds so genuinely perplexed... it’s something in his voice, but I lose it every time. The other is Megatron losing cell reception cause he’s flying through a bad area - the thought of intergalactic alien robots at the mercy of a local wireless provider with inadequate coverage. Lol.

I really dont think the dialog gets enough credit. It's seriously clever because they're all spins on the actual personalities of the g1 characters. The personalities are amplified to hilarious levels. My favourites: Prime telling them to just to put Red Alert in the cave and "turn him off". Dinobots rambling about taking a walk in nature, across hills, canyons, rivers etc And of course: "you're a dumbass too hoist!" Freaking hilarious.

The best part is that this isn't even an exaggeration. Grapple and Hoist actually did team-up with the Constructicons to build a stupid solar tower! And that's why these two idiots barely appear outside of G1.

We need more of these, Smoov. It's been way too long.

The part with Powerglide absolutely kills me every time....so well done with the voices, the girlfriend is typical and the whole thing is ridiculous...just like the episode it referenced. I cannot stop laughing, and then 10 minutes later, the mere thought has me in stitches again. I love it.

Starscreams voice is perfect! Chris Latta would be proud. In fact.....all of the voices are GREAT!

Everything in Red's pov in this vid: Inferno didn't help him in a computer game(?) and let him lose, so he doesn't care about him. He tries to tattletale to Optimus Prime, who wasn't supportive of him. He tries to run from an abusive team/family. Runs into Starscream, he becomes his "buddy", so therefore he's better than the Autobots. He breaks out a super-weapon out of peer-pressure/manipulated emotions by Starscream to destroy the Autobots and prove how good he is from them. Battle breaks loose between the Cons and Autobots, and Red causes the Negavator to blow. Finally, reunited he is with the people he tried to run from. If this were an actual episode or movie, if would have better played drama than Sonic 06 *and* Twilight combined.

I love how Dr. Smoov combined Autobot Berserk with the episode of the dinobots being created, and the other episode of how Grapple built his dream project with the decepicons. They all learned a valuable lesson in one entire stressful day!

I think they are the ultimate tribute to G1, actually. Smoov is essentially pointing out some of the inconsistencies in the original cartoon and amplifying the characters' quirks to extreme levels. It's called a PARODY. I'm a HUGE G1 fan, and I was rolling on the floor when I first saw his stuff!
