All these brands are good, Personally I would choose the Thinkcar Max, it’s software is Launch based (Same as Topdon) or the Think max lite, the advantage of these tools is the remote programming functions on top of the built in programming / coding functions, you can also add on the key programming module if that’s needed further down the line, more info here: ecuconnection.co.uk/product-category/think-tool/

I really appreciate your advice 👍🏽 but I can’t seem to find many long-term reviews of the Thinkcar Max or Max Lite version.. if I was able to wait for discounts, good deals, etc and not be in a rush to buy ..would the Thinkcar Max or Lite version still be your first choice? Is it that much better than the 3 models I mentioned previously above? What’s Thinkcar’s after sales/reputation like? have you had any experience or issues with them with regards to getting help with the previous models of Thinkcar, and possibly thinking.. maybe you should have gone with a different brand? Sorry I’m only asking because I cannot find much information on long-term reviews or feedback with Thinkcar as a company and was just wondering if you could share or assure me with confidence if I choose to buy the Max or Max Lite version over the 3 models mentioned above with your experience of using/owning all these latest models? 😊

@@smithandjohns so far we have not had any problems with Think car tools, we have been using them for 2 years, they are effectively the same as Launch & Topdon, except the identical Launch tool is £1,300 more expensive - Also Launch remote diagnostics are tied to one provider, whereas the Think car remote service is more of an open system with independent remote providers (Us being one), the Think max is already a very good deal as it comes with a 4 channel scope, TPMS wand, Bluetooth battery tester & a borescope included, these items alone are worth apx £1,500, I don’t think the price will drop for proper authorised U.K. tools (Chinese imports will not have remote function working), as for backup, I understand it’s hard trusting a company that is fairly new - established in 2018 (6 years) but so far we’ve not had any problems..
