I get what you’re saying, but I think the overall takeaway (that I got at least) from Marc was that, yeah, he recognizes the problems he sees and whatnot, but he’s still giddy and excited.

It's just the difference between giddy fanboy point of view and grounded logical point of view. It's a good contrast and I'm glad Marc keeps it grounded. The hype train tends to get WAY out of control with these things. Everyone remember the hype for the Pinocchio trailer for AoU?? Let's just hope it's not a repeat of that....

Thanos is supposed to be bald just like in the comics. That wasn't exactly pink but it was a bit light.

They had to give us a good look at him in the trailer after all of the lead up. Thanos looks great. You can see Josh Brolin under there. His helmet is part of his armor. Do you really think he needs a helmet once he starts getting the stones?

I think Heimdalls eyes are the soul gem. Not only because they allow him to see and communicate with anyone anywhere but because of Thora vision from Avengers 2. In it we see the asgardians in hel and Heimdall is missing his eyes. He also tells Thor that he lead them to this which fits with the end of Thor Ragnarok where we see Thanos' ship Sanctuary creep up on Thor and the asgardians. I don't think they survive this encounter

The Eyes of Satan the current theory is that the Soul Stone is in Wakanda, they use it to talk to their dead ancestors. That's why there's the big battle there.

PAUL Burrows I think that theory makes less sense. I mean Heimdal's eyes are orange....and he can see the souls of everyone in the universe...and in a teaser trailer a while back his eyes were clear so that probably meant that the 6th stone had been found.

there's also the the wild idea that where the stones are spells THANOS. Tesseract, Heimdall, Aether, Necklace, Orb, Scepter

The problem with the THANOS spelling theory is that Heimdall is a person, not an object, and all of the other stones are referred to clearly by the objects that the stones were in, so unless Heimdall himself is the soul stone, that theory doesn't add up. And don't get me wrong, I was the biggest supporter of the Heimdall theory, until I saw Ragnarok and it didn't show up in that. Idris Elba has stated many times he's done with playing Heimdall too, so I don't think we'll be seeing him again. I guess it's possible Thanos kills him when he gets the space stone from Loki, but seeing as we only see two when he comes to Earth and they look to be the power stone and the space stone, I don't think Heimdall has it. And there would be absolutely no reason for Thanos to attack Wakanda unless they have one of the stones. We know he attacks New York for the time and mind stones, we know the reality stone (Aether) is with the Collector. So the only one missing is the soul stone, why waste time with Wakanda unless the soul stone is there. And since we know the Black Panthers are able to commune with their ancestors, which is essentially talking to souls, I have to agree that the Heart of Wakanda is the soul stone. And I just realized that the THANOS theory now holds up with the stone in Wakanda. H is for Heart. There you have it!
