You did a nice job with the Assembly video, not rushing through it. I also like that you did a review on the performance of the adventure. Once you charged the batteries a few times what were the results of the performance. Did you get more mileage etc.

@@MissGoElectric It has gotten me back outside again. I have seen many beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I am 63 and haven't ridden a bike since I was in my teens. This bike was so easy to adapt to that I would recommend it to anyone of any age that can ride a standard 26" bike. I had to change the PAS settings to more fit my riding but it was really easy. I have had zero issues with almost 220 miles on it. There is nothing that I dislike about this bike at this time. I did however purchase a 52 tooth chain ring that is supposed to help decrease the ghost pedaling. Supposed to be able to go up to approx 20 to 25 mph without ghost pedaling. We will see once I have it installed. It's a big bike and heavy but I have no problems with that. What I would recommend to a new user is get the mirrors and one for each side. This should be standard with any bike! I will be looking for your review of the cruiser pro. You will LOVE IT! Richard

We have not needed customer service because everything has gone smoothly. The phone number is on their web site. If it is important to you, perhaps you'd consider calling and testing that service in some way?

I have been considering this bike, the draw back for me is the left hand thumb throttle. Wish it has a half twist. Also, the full pedal rotation to get started, this is the first I have heard about it. So if I understand, you can's start by simply giving it throttle?

You can start with throttle only. Throttle mechanisms are an inexpensive part and many riders do switch between pedal and twist. 800 bike shops are listed as Aventon partners and they'd be a resource for that install for riders who prefer to hire the job.

Great video. How tall are you? I noticed that you purchased the M/L in the unboxing video. There did not appear to be a significant difference in size when I viewed at the store for the S/M and M/L and curious on your take.

Thank you for your kind words, Jenna! Miss GoElectric is 5'11". We have not seen a S/M in person but Aventon says it is best for riders 4'11" to 5'7". Taller riders will be more comfortable on the M/L.

Would have liked to see the Hollywood hitch mounted bicycle carrier mentioned in the notes used to transport this rather heavy bike.

Thanks for your feedback. I will incorporate it in an upcoming video! I carry all my ebikes on the Hollywood ebike rack and I'm glad I invested in it. There are definitely some tips I could share for mounting the bikes and securing the rack to my vehicle.

I put my Green Adventure together this afternoon. Took it for small test ride. Battery was 92% charged. It’s on the charger now but no noise…I’m wondering if it has a trickle feature when almost full ?

The light on the charger usually indicates if it is, or is not sending power to the bike. If you plugged it in reading 92% and left it for an hour or two, the battery management system is not likely to accept more current. After your first several rides, the BMS will be calibrated and you'll get more accurate readings. That is not specific to Aventon, but is a general rule with eBikes.

Luv my Aventon Pace. My biggest peave is the mobile and display app are terrible. Specifically no one knows what a kcal is or how it coverts to anything usable.

We like the tracking and community elements of the app. What would you like to see added or changed to make it bettter? kcal is 1000 calories. For those who like to track fitness statistics, calories burned is likely a helpful figure.

Which one is more fun to ride in your opinion, the Adventure 2 or the Level 2?

You can take the Aventure on more types of terrain because of its fat tires. It is slightly more challenging to put it on a bike rack because it's bigger. If you plan on sticking to pavement and light gravel paths, the Level 2 is a great option but if you want to go out on trails or ride in the winter with snow, Aventure might be the right choice. How easy it is to change a flat? What tubes are needed.

We haven't needed to change the tube. If we did, we would use a 26" * 4" tube.

Just had to replace my first tube and it was the back tire. It took a bit cause I did not know what I was doing but taking the back tire off is more simple then it looks. You can patch the bike with out removing the wheel from the bike.

The fat tires are nice until the battery goes dead and you are miles from home. I went with a skinny tire and lighter ebike after running out of juice on a fat tire.

As mentioned in this video, it would not be fun to pedal this without power. I would not personally ride a skinny tire bike on any of the off road trails featured in this segment.

I notice it has a derailleur drive? How is it peddling without assist? My electric has a belt drive with only one ratio. It's virtually unridable with an exhausted battery.

It is a heavy bike at over 70lbs. It can be pedaled without assistance in the easiest gear.

You know that's a nice looking bike but for $2,000 they ought to give you more than one year warranty there's a lot of bikes out there with a lot what lot less cheaper and they've got a one-year warranty

I was also surprised the warranty was only one year which is pretty common among lower priced ebikes. Aventon is making a lot of improvements right now as far as total customer experience so maybe they will revisit warranty while they are at it. Nice thing is they have a robust and widespread dealer network for repairs if needed unlike many of the DTC brands.

Laugh every time I see one of these reviews and they say that $2000 Is pretty expensive for a bike. These are from what I have seen so far probably the best of the cheap bikes and very well may serve a lot of folks just fine as long as you're not into efficient peddling. But just keep in mind these are cheap bikes.

All good, but if you really want to burn calories, hear nature, and feel the rewards of elevated HR, lose the motor :-) Also, the better trails in MI don't allow e-bikes.

We have many high quality bikes for many purposes. Some have electric motors. EBikes let me go further so I burn calories for longer and they are definitely quiet enough to hear nature which is the best part 🙂 I like the flexibility of using it as a mode of transport even when I don't want to sweat. Been lucky to go on some great trails already in the mitten and plan to hit many more across the whole state so I'll keep my eyes peeled for the restrictions as always but challenge accepted haha 🙂
