The whole betrayal thing really doesn't mesh well with the Ratio that's been presented to us up until now so I'm really on the fence about it. Until now he was shown to manipulate both sides to get a net positive outcome and also has stated and acted on the belief that fools need to be knocked down until they learn and gain "awareness". There is also the thing he have Aventurine to use in his last moments. Hopefully Shaoji didn't just build such an interesting character just to waste him in a single patch while making Dr. Ratio's character mission into a joke.

Have you not read the dialouges? Aven literally says that Ratio's betrayal was a part of their plans. Both the stones weren't his, He was holding his stone all along. It was to fool Sunday.

He is presumed MIA not KIA, but knowing his extreme gambling behaviour since he was a slave, I knew damn well he will cheat his death anyway, even Acheron said go back and keep gambling

@@idontspeakjapanese6289 nah it doesn’t feel like he wanted to die, that’s why he was upset with the harmony’s curse. But he’s the type to be able to accept it and as you said considered it and admitted to being tired. But after meeting acheron seems like he steered to a better path, he was convinced that there is meaning in living the journey and that he deserved it.
