This is the most scenic golf course in Myrtle Beach adn today I'm taking it on from the tips! Join Perfectly Average Golf as we take on King's North at Myrtle Beach National!
Love your attitude throughout this whole round. Sometimes I struggle with putting way too much pressure on myself when playing amazing courses, because I WANT to do well, and it really eats away at my ability to just have fun and be present. Really nice to see you just shake off the bad shots SO easily and get right back to that positive and happy state of mind. Gotta imagine it does wonders on the scorecard too! Great video! Pllaying here at the end of April this year, and can't WAIT.
Yeah dude this trip I was in a GREAT mental space every round, and I think it was because I knew setting the goal of only breaking 90 at each course should be SUPER doable and realitively easy for where my game was. So having a loose expectation and just taking the time to enjoy the courses was by far the best play I could have made. ENJOY IT! It's one of my favorite courses in Myrtle!
Great video, one of my favorite courses down in Myrtle. Arguably the best collection of par 3's on any course down there. The other 2 courses there are fun to play but not as nice King's North.
Have not played King North, but did play King West. Your production of these videos is always top notch. Love the use of your drone. After watching this video, I need to make this course one of the next I play in Myrtle Beach. Nice round and back 9 for sure. On to round 3.
I always consider myself as lower side of average, but, I tell people, I will absolutely dazzle you with some shots, and then, turn around and disappoint you on the same hole. But, thanks for the ride along, looks fantastic, sitting here in north eastern ohio. Played Sunday in the rain on a rain soaked course. Played nine, shot a fifty, with two eights, 1,3, at knoll run, g.c. Nice thing playing in the cold and rain in jan., you have the course to yourself. 😁😂
MBN is a great complex. The other two courses are a little more basic, but usually in great shape. I wanted to comment on the hole locations. There were some tough ones. A lot of break on those short putts haha. Great video!
Very nice looking course...you'd expect nothing less from Palmer though, and you played it pretty well. Dude your filming, editing and commentary are top notch...some of the best on YT for sure and much improved to when you first started - as has your golf. It has been a great fun ride watching your channel for all these months. Well done sir.
We are a bunch of 3-5 handicaps guys coming in from Denver, trying to decide tee boxes for our group Not looking to breach records from the tips, just have some fun. Which tee boxes would you recommend?
Distance won't be an issue at King's North, it's only 6800 yards from the back. I don't think you guys will have an issue from back there whatsoever, so I'd say tip it out. Otherwise the golf box in front is like 6500 yards, will probably take driver out of your hands on some of the holes from that box I'd imagine.
According to the Taylor Made web site those clubs are not very FORGIVING, ouch I know I could NEVER play those. Good luck. The range and lessons are going to be your best friends. Does TM provide lessons with one of their clubs fitters for a new customer? have fun. That is why I played Ping Eye 2's I needed the help baddy.
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf i played the honors course in ooltowah tn several years ago. they did not want you to fill your divots, so i brought a bunch of zoyzia divots home in my bag and planted them in my yard. lol
I was taking some inspiration from EAL and RGC for doing an Avg golfer vs the tips at different myrtle courses. Ended up fine IMO would do it again lol
Definitely wasn't slowing anyone up behind us and I was definitely not the slow on the group. Good insight tho! Especially since I turned around and shot a 76 at a harder course the next day 👍
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf you should play caladonia. not long, but man it's beautiful and so much fun to play. another is arrowhead. love your course presentations
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf I’m not hating, love MBN but when I think of scenic I’m thinking views (like your other videos at Pawleys or Tidewater) where MBN is land locked.
