In this video, gold recovery expert Mr. Oziel will show you how to smelt down your gold plated and gold filled pins and other gold items recovered from computers and electronics. Instead of using Aqua Regia, I prefer and suggest just melting them straight down into ingots. This way, you save money on expensive chemicals, avoid chemical burns, and don't risk the chance in losing your gold using Nitric Acid or Aqua Regia.

The only gold you will recover from computer parts melted in ingots will be on the outside. This is probably less than 0.05g unless you plan to grind them into the finest powder by which point you wasted more money than there is in gold. Pentium pro cpus have a total of 1.0g recoverable on good days not 3.0g

That torch you guys are using is a complete fail. First off the tip is made out of brass.... second there is a plastic handle. Torches with brass tips and plastic handles are not designed to be confined in a crucible when they are burning. They use the surrounding air and full flow of MAPP to cool the tip.

Hi it's me again I realy need to know if you just cut the pins From the comp and melt them just like that ? or you use any acid to get the gold out of the pin 'before you melt them ? I will appreciate your help , I have a lot of pins and I don't Want to make a mistake , thank you for your time and have A nice day !

so here i go again. first the pins that you are melting are next to worthless. it is more profitable to strip them in an electrolytic recovery cell. smelting them into a bar makes this no better than bronze. you currently have approximately .6%- of gold content in that entire bar. normally i wouldnt criticize so hard but you obviously dont have anywhere near enough information to be expounding it in videos. please leave the education to those that actually know what they are talking about

What is this ? Video ? About ? May I suggest some learning... Before your next embarrassment ! DEFINITELY not 2 grams - Pentium. Around 1/2 a gram in that pentium. YES, You can melt gold with propane. I couldn't get very far into the, Video ? Mixed metals bar. Called pot metal. Nickel, Steel, Copper, Tin, Brass, Solder, Maybe some Silver,

Lies... that Pentium pro has 1gram of gold at best says me and every expert in the world. Propane will melt gold too. And no way those pins in the red caps are higher than 0.03k and not the 9k he states. Total clown!!!
