In Ayurvedic medicine, the vata dosha are the most slender build and creative of all the doshas. When out of balance, their creative minds and bodies which are always on the go can exhaust themselves with anxiety and overwhelm. In this video I am going to share with you the 10 mistakes that vata dosha should avoid. This video will include lifestyle tips, advice for diet for vata dosha including what foods vata should avoid and what foods vata should eat. I will also talk about the best yoga for vata dosha including poses and types of yoga that vata dosha should absolutely not skip.

Great Video! Thank you :) I am suffering from an anxiety disorder and Insomnia. My mind is running all time and it got way better through meditation and acceptance of the situation. Its when i dont sleep at night that I am scared of not getting enough sleepand then anxiety and adrenaline overcomes me during the day . But i learned accepting it instead of fighting it. Also a daily routine helps. but due to my illness i didnt work and spend all day alone with my thoughts and ideas. That made it worst and i got into a vicious cycle. I will definitely follow your advice. Being a foodie i cant wait to eat more root vegetables and drink teas :)

Beautiful! I am Pitta dominantly by nature. But currently have my Vata aggaravated. I have heard it gets worsely aggravated in Parkinson patients. Finding my healing through Ayurveda with my aunt who is Ayurvedic physician. Beautiful video. Thank you so much.

I just read something about doshas in a magazine so I googled it and it came up with a quiz, I came out as vata. Your video came up on RU-vid and OH MY GOSH I cannot believe the accuracy of what you described, I couldn't be more vata if I tried! I'm amazed! Thankyou for the video x

I live in the desert. It is one of the most famous natural wind tunnels as evidenced by the proliferation of windmills; it gets very hot here in the summer. 118-122°F. Simply hydrating with plenty of water isn’t enough. There must be ice cold water available to avoid overheating as it is cumulative over days so keeping the body’s core temp down is important. Grabbing a smoothie is my morning go to in order to get some morning plant based protein.

My vata dosha is still and grounded ❤️ this all makes perfect sense to me. I naturally gravitate to soups and hot meals in colder months as well as hot /Warm teas. Yin and restorative yoga are my favorite styles for grounding.
