Being predictable in a boxing ring is something to be avoided, this is particularly true when it comes to boxing defense.
The thing is, there are some simple things you can do to make your defense more efective, and this starts with your attack sequence. Don't exit from your attack in the same way, over and over again. Change the height of your head, and even better change your angle of retreat after you've landed your punches. There is nothing worse than landing some good shots and then getting tagged with punches because you have ignored your defense discipline.
