The city's colonial history, vibrant colors, yellow taxis, chaotic bazaars, and hospitality of Kolkata people make it a city that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who visits.

On the days when i just dont want to deal with the touts I pretend I can’t speak English or Hindi ‘no English,no Hindi’ is all i say😊you were on sudder street,the first place i went when I arrived in india 11 years ago. The touts were unbelievable and very insistent in that area.Thankfully after 8 trips to india ive learnt how to deal with them. For future visitors chai is 10rp and the jewellery you were looking at sell from 50rp to 100rp max!

I can't believe so many foreigners come to this part of the city whiel we literally have a metro going under a river to see.Please foreigners if you visit this city avoid the north only visit tagore's home and esplanade then head off to maidan-camac street-rabindra sadan and then go to the salt lake sector five area on the north-east of the city and take the em bypass route there are many hgh rises on the way not many skyscrapers but several highrises
