if the enemies had a bit more of a ragdoll effect to them, it would help with the 'impact' the weapons and abilities do, as right now, it feels very oblivion-like.

The strike and death animations need serious work!

the first teaser trailer for this game showed a dark, epic glimpse of what could be an amazing game to get lost in, with each trailer this impression slips further and further away, looks like another light weight rpg like the outer worlds.

Always pretty humorous when developers spend a lot of energy advertising features that are in tons of games as if it's something they just came up with.

If this wasn't an Obsidian game no one would defend it.

Weapons need a major overhaul. That was my main gripe with outerworlds. The weapons look and feel like toys....

the world looks structured like a theme park

The devs of the game have more compelling voices than the voice actors lol

So glad this is based on the world of Pillars of Eternity. Obsidian really made a unique world with that one, if you can swallow the encyclopaedia of lore needed to understand it

when Obsidian makes a game the graphics take second place for me, the role-playing component comes first: and they always nailed it.

The people who actually are hating this game based on its graphics literally know nothing about gaming, this game is visually stunning and we all know the aspect obsidian smashes when it comes to making games, and that’s the gameplay and storyline

Certainly excited to see the lore-rich world. Even if combat isn’t the best. Never finished pillars of eternity but the world was interesting to explore.

Setting looks interesting the design seems fun, the cambat looked a bit stiff or stilted, will be interesting to see more from this one.

Hope we get a look at the character customization and that we can play as other races as well, maybe have some 3rd person camera to view our character. Look really interesting so far!

How come its always the most casual console warriors that talk about graphics. You have to play Alan Wake 2 at below 900p, graphics arent your concern. I'll never understand why Obsidian have marketed both this and the outer worlds by giving combat showcases. Show us an extended look at a quest and the branching decisions or some interesting landmarks/characters in the world rather than just randomised locations to showcase biomes. It would be like InExile or Larian just showing combat to advertise BG3 or Wasteland 3 rather than the world and characters in the world. Still excited for the game since its obsidian. From Tyranny to Pentiment, they always deliver interesting and engaging stories.
