I served with the Crow in the Army. Best friends I ever made. I couldn't joke and call them punks like I did my friends thought. Anything taken as a challenge was no joke but they were amazing friends. Great people.

Go raibh mile maith agaibh, faoi an fisean draiochtuil seo, agus beannachtai oraibh, a iomlan na daoine Apsaalooke. (Thank you all for this magical video, and blessings be upon all the people of the Apsaalooke Nation.) I wrote this blessing in Irish, because it is my own indigenous language, a language that the English nearly destroyed when they conquered my people. But the language lives on, and I pray that your own language, customs, religion and nation live on, in perpetuity, forever. Blessings be upon you, from my tribe to yours! Sincerely, Naomi Seraphina

If the Salish, Kootenai & Pend d’Oreille Indians can set aside tribal wilderness and a buffer zone, so can the Crow Nation. And they should have a strong voice in the management of these lands. Go for it.

I read a great story about a trapper from the 1800s who was with the crow people for a little bit. He was amazed how they never new mental illness or sickness and how he sat with great tribal men who claimed to have known 100winters and still looked strong and healthy. If only we could learn or change to live like they use too. Im thankful for all the knowledge that the Native Americans share.

I live in England, so have never heard of these people until earlier today when watching a YT video of a member of the Crow Tribe in this modern age speaking to someone called Peter, who does all sorts of documentaries, they Invited him on to their land which was good of them, and This guy was really well spoken, I remember him talking about dried fruits and how that in it self is a native product, I am going to go buy some, too much these days is designed to destroy us instead of giving us good health, I also like how they are connected to nature and the land that part fascinates me, especially when they look at the Earth differently to how most do, they look after things like the Rivers etc, It was eye opening, and that's how I found my self here on a different YT video about them a few minutes later, It truly looks like an amazing part of the world. I think they are right, in this day and age I don't know why so many people CHASE Money, stay in the same structure for generations, Spend all day doing something they hate, or spend hours disconnected from anyone.. none of this is bringing me happiness, In the end I want to get out there in the world, and ultimately be happy and Healthy, I am in my 30s but I do not want to give up.

The Crow, the most "elegant" of the plains Indians (in my humble opinion). I grew up (white) with the Crow, Northern Cheyenne, Gros Ventre, Assiniboine, Lakota, Arapaho, Cree, Flathead, Blackfeet, and Shoshone people, as my father was an employee (one of the last white employees) of the Indian Services. I'm forever glad for my experience with the Indigenous Americans.

About 2 years ago I asked to share a table in a cafe. The young woman at the table asked me if I saw crows around me - I laughed, like those 8 behind you? I asked…She was a psychic. She told me they were reminding me of a recent past life as the medicine man of the Crow tribe and that Sitting Bull and Morning Cloud were my friends in life and now my spirit guides. I live in London England now - I am an ER doctor - heavily intuitive & love alternative energy medicine Reiki & crystals etc I looked into the history of the tribe and saw their most serious battle ended between 2 forts - one of which has the same name I have in this lifetime C Smith! I’d be grateful for any pictures or history of that lifetime if anyone can help me!? Thank you for your video.

Respectfully... Can we ever be sure who were friends, had bonds with who, in past times? Tribes of people may be at war at certain periods, but individuals throughout time have unexpected friendships, sometimes private ones, with respect for each other, despite tribal differences...

Its heart breaking what has been taken from the native Americans. I am white but my great great grandmother was full blooded potawotami ....but I guess its all been bread out of us by now....you guys have it right tho...everytime I see nature get torn down for a strip mall or a fast food restaurant it makes me so angry. I wish I could have been born a thousand years ago and lived the way your people lived. Im sure it wasn't easy to live that way but you had each other and as long as you had that and the land you had all you ever needed.

Same, every time seeing a new supermarket I think "as we don't have enough". Here we had some protests of peasants now, because of governmental decisions, but the french ones are doing it with more power. And here our grounds are going to be not as good anymore than years ago because of using them to intensive. ... Please try to beware that mountains.

Did the Crow people originate in the upper Midwest originally? Then move west to where they are now. I knew an American Indian man a few years ago who said he was Crow, but his family never lived in Montana or any of the neighboring states.

I grew up next to the NiMiiPuu and the Wallawa’s, a tribe associated with them who’s Chief, Josef, led his tribe out of Oregon to flee the Army. He was heading for Northern Montana to ask the Crow for help. This tragic tale of misery is told in the book “I will fight No More Forever”. It is time to respect the past and return sacred lands to their rightful owners. This country sends billions of dollars to support Israel with their 3000 year old claim to Palestine. Now it is time to do the same thing at home with people who’s land was stolen less than 200 years ago.
