Do you want to know what is remarkable about this victory of Sergei Kalinichenko? In 2018, on the zloty tour, Sergei received a terrible fracture of his left arm (you can easily find a video and understand the severity of such a terrible fracture).... Few people, after such a terrible fracture, would even be able to go to the table, but Sergei Kalinichenko, after 6 years, managed go out and defeat one of the most powerful armwrestlers of our time, Dave Chaffee, on the left broken arm! I watched a recent interview with Sergei, where he talked in detail about rehabilitation..... and after such injuries it is psychologically very difficult to force yourself to fight at the table again, not to mention giving it your all like he did today. Therefore, I am very happy for Kalina that he is already at such a high level and that terrible injury received in his youth due to inexperience is left behind!

@@SOLIDCORNER418what the hell do you people have against reading? Seriously, like why even come to the comment section at all if reading hurts your brain? You do realize that this is the only way to convey one's thoughts on a subject, while commenting. He can't post a video in here. Bet you've never owned a book in your life huh?
@@InTheHookJohn I’m suprised you are in the arm wrestling community and you don’t know how to pronounce Kalinichenko’s name . He’s been competing in EvW and king of the table and his name has been announced so many times .
I agree. It was unprofessional, wrong and it's slightly embarrassing. I was not familiar with his proper name and have been away from the sport for several years. If it is any consolidation it was an honest mistake.

Dave is insane ! We saw him drink 2-2 liters of RC cola into his butt doing a naked tripod and then ran. 4 mile run with with us Respect! I don’t know how he ingested it. That’s an insane talent
@@cwolf208 pulling like a real man has nothing to do with outcome . You can be an annoying sissy and annoy the f out of everyone and get your way to win the match but I don’t call that a win
I had done announcing for about 10 years previously. I've been away from the sport for about 6 years so I was a bit rusty. No, Devon did not get me the gig.
@@InTheHookJohn Thanks for replying man! You're a legend in your own right and while I haven't seen a lot of you, I'm sure your knowledge lives through others :)
I think those early elbow fouls gave Kalinichenko an advantage over Dave . Dave gassed out wasting energy, you could clearly see he was stronger in the early part of the match
Мне кажется или этот матч как то оказался в строне обсуждаемого армрестлинга в мире)? Серега круто спрогрессировал, Увидим ли мы тебя на KoT ли East West?
I like the pace of these rounds. Not ten minutes between ready, go. Neither person complaining and whining. This is how armwrestling ideally should be for viewers that like an uptempo pace.
It amazes me how so many “professional” arm wrestlers need the referees to repeatedly teach them a proper grip. Imagine if the referees of a boxing match had to constantly show boxers how to throw a punch. And the hand slippage, seems like most need to work on their grip strength so it matches the strength of their arms.
Sure, he does he just started. He said it himself. And either one of them would annihilate you really badly. To say they suck is a pretty dumb thing to say. Any of the top 20 in the world would oiss pound guys like us for a fact. Im sure they could leave many with broken arms if they wanted.
@@RICHIE_RICH89 you think i didn't know. I understand your hostility since the armwrestling communinty has a lot of toxic low IQ people. But what i ment was there left hands are both in comparison to their right miles behind. And my comment was actually a complement especially to Dave since he was able to have superb hand controll with his left even tho he didnt train it for years. My comment actually means: "there left hands are way worse both technically and strength wise yet they pulled of an amazing display of both technique and power, they would destroy 95 % of people on the left and 99% on the right.
@@RICHIE_RICH89 Of course they would. The best people in every sport would dominate us in every way. But they're not being compared to average people, they're being compared to their peers.
Around 2015-2016 dave was a legit contender for the wal left title, he also gave a decent battle to bagent. He didn't train it as regularly as his right hand but the potential is definitely there
Poor ol Dave, i feel bad for him being so dominant for so long. Still was a awesome match and Uncle Jon was born to be a commentator. Awesome event it was 💪💪
@@Futsunnuyshi yea I never said age was. In Dave's case it's his neck and a couple other nagging injuries. His neck won't get better, I have the same issue in my lower back and it slowly gets worse til surgery is needed. But maybe a couple years of stem cells will help it
@@tallpaulhutchensjr. devon also have tons of injury, in fact almost every top athlete in armwrestling have major injury, they just have to overcome it somehow, so in armwrestling the battle is not only in the supermatch but also in everyday life, training, injury, recovery, drugs, new bio tech, etc
I seen a few comments with guys saying these two suck left arm. I would disagree and say the opposite. And even go out on a limb and say any of the top 20 in the world would break a mans arm off the streets or in the comment section if they really wanted. These guys are far stronger then what people realize.
