Thanks everyone for being patient. I spent over 4 months working on this project and I was not able to film as much as I wanted to. This was probably one of my most difficult projects I have ever undertaken.
I can't wait to see what I can produce on this new Machine.

It's a good problem to have when you need to upscale and upgrade your manufacturing to meet demand, glad to see that business is doing good!

Tormach customer service is top notch. In a shop with over 100 machines I’ve learned that cleanliness is huge. Chip build up will destroys ways and gibs real fast

what do you think of the little rubber inserts that goes into the table. is it better or worse? I'll end up having the same set up each time, so it might be worth while getting some.

If your vise is never going to move and your setup isn’t changing it can’t hurt. The t slots on the table will stay clean

Cover your bed. Rubber mat... like a mud flap. That will get you over the learning curve. Welcome to the joys and pains of CNC. Breaking shit faster than you can do it yourself.

The CNC project should make an interesting series to watch. I'm looking forward to learning with you.

I’m impressed, great idea getting this machine! You are expanding exponentially and I’m looking forward to your next videos. BTW, I appreciate the effort needed to produce video content. I dabbled with making some videos of my work just for myself but never worked out. Your doing fine.

Fixtureing is worthy of your attention and can get expensive, but probably not bad for your current application. Try to make good use of the bed space to reduce load in and out cycles.

you need to join the tormach machinist forum. you will get plenty of help over there i'm sure. can't what till you master the skills of programming.

Very awesome. Be proud of yourself. This was a very challenging task but you came out on top. Stick with it and take us along for the ride.

I think your air pressure issues are due to flow. You need to get rid of the quick coupling and run a 1/2" line directly to the machine. The machine doesn't need 12 cfm all the time... only when it does a tool change. I would bet the compressor has enough reserve capacity to handle that. I would also recommend either adding an intake muffler to the compressor or building an insulated enclosure to deal with the noise.

I had the issue with it plumbed up directly into the machine with the largest line i could fit. I added the quick disconnect because i had to remove the air from the machine 20-30 times during diagnostic, got sick of dumping the whole compressor tank each time I had to run a status check on the air pressure.

Wow, way back when I suggested using an end mill bit for drilling exact sized holes I never imagined that would grow into a complete CNC setup. Well done! It's ngreat seeing your business expanding to the point that you need new machinery to keep up, just take it easy and don't overspend too much on anticipated future income. :)

I see you are expanding you product line. I was wondering why you haven't uploaded a video for a while. Another Canadian RU-vidr (AvE) installed an enclosed milling machine in his shop a few years ago. When using the lubricating/cooling system he had a hard time seeing the work pieces. He installed a Marine Rotary Viewer. It is a spinning window that throws any liquid off the window. Just a thought as some viewers might have the same problem.

Also the lift blocks, didn’t want to outsource it? Lots of local shops that do things like this for pennies per part. Like Delta machine in ingersoll Ontario. Great guys to deal with.

Did you guys wipe the bottom of that mill before setting that onto the stand? Don’t feel bad on the missing parts, mine was missing some as well. Great machine though and congrats on the purchase.
